AMD Phenom II X3 N830

O AMD Phenom II X3 N830 é um processador de triplo núcleo para portáteis que funciona com uma freqüência de 2,1 GHz. Baseia-se nos processadores Athlon II X3 para desktop (com freqüência mais baixa) e portanto não apresenta cache de nível 3. Em média o desempenho deve estar à altura de um antigo Core 2 Quad Q9000. A falta de uma função Turbo Boost / Core e cache de nível 3 e a baixa freqüência, limitam o desempenho do CPU. Em aplicativos single threaded, o desempenho é tão veloz quanto o de um Core 2 Duo de 1,8 GHz (CB10) ou até mais lento (SuperPi). Comparado com um moderno Core i3-330M, o N830 quase sempre fica por embaixo (exceto no CB11.5).

O Phenom II apresenta um controlador de memória DDR3 integrado no molde (máximo DDR3-1333) é é produzido em 45nm SOI (Core i3-330M 32nm).
