Por que comprar o XPS 13 original quando sua alternativa mais versátil 2-em-1 está disponível?

Apesar de sua aparência quase idêntica, ainda existem vários motivos a considerar o XPS 13 padrão. Primeiramente, o XPS 13 original é um pouco mais grosso e mais rígido em sua base e centro do teclado sem ser mais pesado. Em segundo lugar, ele integra USB Type-A e um leitor SD mais veloz em comparação com o 2-em-1 sem USB Type-A e apenas um leitor de MicroSD. Em terceiro lugar, as teclas do teclado do XPS 13 fornecem uma resposta um pouco mais firme quando premidas e se sente mais perto ao do excelente teclado AccuType em certos portáteis Lenovo.

As diferenças do desempenho da CPU entre o XPS 13 2-em-1 e o XPS 13 não devem ser ignoradas. O SKU de nível de entrada do XPS 13 com a CPU i7-5200U é quase 25 por cento mais veloz que o i7-7Y75 no SKUXPS de gama superior2-in-1 SKU. Os deltas somente são superiores quando se compara o SKU XPS 13 com o i7-7500U com o SKU XPS 2-em 1 com o i5-7Y54. Embora não seja notório se estiver usando um simples processador de texto ou navegando, os tempos de resposta se tornam mais óbvios para tempos de carga mais longos e programas. Adicione o limitado Turbo Boost e o potencial afogamento e você tem um sistema que é mais inadequado para a edição de fotos e multitarefas pesadas, que o seu típico Ultrabook ou Spectre x360 13 e Yoga 910.

Os usuários que podem ver além  dessas desvantagens terão uma das melhores experiências 2-em-1 de um portátil de 13-polegadas que é ainda mais compacto e leve que o mais recente Lenovo ou HP. O design do InfinityEdge se traduz de forma bela em um conversível e outros aspectos chaves como a tela, desempenho do SSD, duração da bateria, e acabamento são quase iguais ao do XPS 13.

Os usuários que desejem fazer mais do que apenas navegar, fazer streaming de vídeos, e processamento de textos podem ainda preferir um Ultrabook com um processador classe U. De outra forma, este seria facilmente um dos nossos 2-em-1 favoritos, simplesmente por causa de seu tamanho pequeno e subsequente praticidade no modo tablet.
