Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

A nova série Latitude E5000 da Dell deixa uma impressão muito sólida em as nossas seções de testes. Isto começa com o chassi, porque é muito robusto e nobre.

Quase não existem problemas de qualidade de construção, mas gostaríamos de ver escotilhas de manutenção ou, pelo menos, uma bateria removível para iterações futuras. 

Provavelmente os aspectos mais importantes sejam os dispositivos de entrada. O teclado fornece uma boa experiência de digitação, mas o deslocamento poderia ser maior. O único problema real da nossa unidade de teste é o painel TN com seus ângulos de visão limitados. Pelo menos há uma tela Full HD opcional com uma luminescência maior. Uma tela melhor melhoraria um pouco a avaliação. O desempenho do Latitude é muito balanceado e nós podemos medir uma evidente vantagem sobre o predecessor. Nossa unidade de teste também convence com ótimas características do ruído. Também gostamos muito das durações da bateria; o portátil durará facilmente mais do que um dia de trabalho inteiro com a bateria. 

O Dell Latitude E5470 é um portátil empresarial convencional bem-sucedido. No entanto, se você estiver procurando uma máquina de escrever de escritório, também deveria conectar dispositivos de entrada externos.

Se quiser uma tela de alta resolução e um veloz SSD PCIe-3.0, dever considerar o Lenovo ThinkPad T460s. O novo HP EliteBook 840 G3 com a geração Skylake também deve ser interessante. Mesmo assim, você não deve esquecer que o preço do novo Latitude E5470 é muito menor em comparação com esses rivais.
