Com uma pontuação de of 80%, a Lenovo parece ter feito muitas coisas bem no ThinkPad E450. O SSD combinado com um SoC de 15-Watts garante longas durações de bateria e uma operação frugal e silenciosa. A tela Full HD fornece muita tela. Os bons dispositivos de entrada, herdados da série T mais cara de ThinkPads, têm excelente resposta e a porta docking OneLink traz a experiência de uma portátil profissional par o escritório de estudantes.

Este é exatamente o grupo alvo que motivou a Lenovo a criar um modelo com gráficos Radeon que lidem com jogos. Certamente, os usuários profissionais podem ter sido capazes de viver sem ele, mas desejaram um SSD, que está disponível na forma de uma unidade de 2,5-polegadas da Samsung.

Apesar de tudo, não temos o aparelho perfeito perante nós. O baixo brilho TFT, especialmente com a bateria, no perturba tremendamente. A superfície mate não ajuda muito se a tela for simplesmente escura demais para trabalhar no balcão. A manutenção (bateria fixa, ventilado inacessível para limpeza) é bastante pobre. Junto com uma escotilha inferior defeituosa (os ganchos quebram, aparecem rupturas na placa), surge a questão de que se o fabricante pensei nestes detalhes. Se você pode viver com isso, não quer o SSD mais veloz, nem sente falta de uma tela com cores fortes, obterá um portátil de 14 polegadas que poderia demonstrar ser um companheiro leal na universidade, por um preço atraente.

Aqueles que desejam desesperadamente uma melhor qualidade de tela, devem considerar o Acer TravelMate P645-S apesar de seu preço mais alto. O aparelho de 14-polegadas também está disponível em várias configurações por preços diferentes. Se não se incomodar com a maior altura do ThinkPad L450, obterá um aparelho de 14-polegadas com manutenção mais simples. Embora sua tela FHD também não seja perfeita, oferece amplos ângulos de visão e cores melhores graças ao IPS. O Dell Latitude 3440 é uma alternativa que não recomendamos mais, por causa de sua GeForce GT 740M obsoleta. Além disso, seus dispositivos de entrada também não são tão bons.
