A Asus conseguiu melhorar algumas desvantagens do ZenPad S 8.0 com o novo ZenPad 3 8.0, incluindo o afogamento sob cargas de trabalho contínuas, bem como as durações da bateria abaixo da média. É lamentável que o antigo design excepcional tenha sido simplificado sem resultar em uma vantagem para a estabilidade do chassi, que ainda é apenas média. A qualidade da construção, por outro lado, não causa críticas.
Os recursos do modelo de teste conseguem competir com muitos rivais mais caros, mas o NFC, bem como o leitor de digitais estão ausentes, os quais estão presentes, por exemplo, no Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0. A qualidade da webcam também é decepcionante – nós a elogiamos para o ZenPad S 8.0. O maior problema do modelo de teste é o software: A interface ZenUI adiciona diversos recursos, mas infelizmente há muitos bugs, portanto, deduzimos u ponto da avaliação final. Afortunadamente ainda há uma chance de que a Asus atualize os aplicativos correspondentes nas seguntes semanas.
O ZenPad 3 8.0 é um tablet bem equipado por um preço comparativamente baixo, mas não estabelece novos pontos de referência em categoria alguma. Observamos que muitos pequenos bugs do software também afetam a experiência do usuário durante a análise.
Se você puder renunciar à funcionalidade LTE e ainda desejar o aparelho da Asus, deveria dar uma olhada no ZenPad S 8.0 antes de adquirir o modelo de teste. Este último é muito similar ao nosso modelo de teste, mas vem com 64 GB de armazenamento interno, uma câmera melhor, bem como um design exclusivo por um preço similar – especialmente porque este tablet roda Android 6.0. Se contar com mais dinheiro, o Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 com sua ótima tela AMOLED também deveria ser uma alternativa interessante ao modelo de teste.
