Você não precisa reinventar a roda cada vez – o que faz sentido é melhorar um produto comprovado em passos pequenos, porém, contínuos. A Dell segue esta filosofia e não muda o Latitude E7450 completamente, mas conseguiu melhorar muitos aspectos pequenos em comparação com o predecessor E7440.
Muitas otimizações somente são notáveis quando você compara ambos os dispositivos lado a lado. O chassi agora é um pouco mais fino que antes, e tem um uma bateria um pouco maior, pesar de ter o mesmo peso. O barulho sob carga foi reduzido e o processador bem como o desempenho gráfico foram melhorados graças aos novos chips Broadwell. Dispositivos de entrada familiares e de alta qualidade e uma muito boa tela Full HD completam a impressão geral e justificam nossa avaliação final de 88% – muito bom.
Que o ThinkPad T440s obtém dois pontos a mais, apesar do hardware antigo, deve-se principalmente a coisas pequenas como a bateria opcional de 96-Wh ou as emissões de ruído ainda mais baixas. Mas isto também demonstra que os portáteis da Haswell são tudo menos ultrapassados em 2015. O sucessor é obviamente preferível pelo mesmo preço, mas muitos modelos descontinuados como o Latitude E7440 devem estar disponíveis por preços muito atraentes nas seguintes semanas. Este também é um dos nossos pontos de crítica para o E7450: Quase 1600 Euros (~$1833) no final de janeiro é bastante alto para um portátil com CPU Core i5 e SSD de 128 GB. Mesmo assim, você deve esperar preços similares pelo próximo ThinkPad T450s ou EliteBook 840 G2 – ambos devem estar disponíveis em breve – por causa da fraca taxa de câmbio do Euro atualmente.
