Se não estiver quebrado, não o conserte - esta poderia ter sido a abordagem da Lenovo para o ThinkPad P71. O P70 anterior foi o primeiro workstation de 17 polegadas durante um bom tempo, mas não houve problemas importantes.

Alguns aspectos são ainda melhores este ano, como a melhoria do dimensionamento no Windows 10 (embora esta seja dificilmente uma realização da Lenovo). Nada mudou em termos do muito bom painel 4K, mas a calibração integrada funciona muito melhor desta vez. Você ainda recebe um chassi robusto, excelentes dispositivos de entrada e uma boa solução de resfriamento, o que permite uma utilização de desempenho quase perfeita em nosso modelo de teste.

Isto nos para o maior problema: o preço. O novo processador Kaby Lake é apenas uma atualização menor em comparação com o antigo modelo Skylake, mas a GPU Quadro P3000 é muito mais rápida e, ao mesmo tempo, mais eficiente do que a Quadro M3000M anterior. Os ventiladores permanecem silenciosos a maior parte do tempo e as temperaturas também não são críticas, para que você possa desfrutar de um ambiente de trabalho muito confortável, mesmo sob carga. Já mencionamos que isso provavelmente mudará um pouco quando você optar por uma das placas gráficas mais potentes (P4000 e P5000).

O destaque do ThinkPad P71 é a nova geração de GPU. Graças à boa solução de resfriamento, à ótima tela e aos excelentes dispositivos de entrada, você recebe um dos melhores worktations, se não o melhor, do mercado.

Não conseguimos encontrar grandes falhas neste ano. A webcam poderia finalmente receber uma atualização e esperamos melhores alto-falantes em um workstation móvel tão grande. O ruído de bobina ocasional é mais irritante, dado que os ventiladores geralmente estão desativados durante as baixas cargas de trabalho, de modo que você ouve facilmente sons adicionais em ambientes silenciosos.
