We expected a bit more from HP's tablet given its 469 price tag. You can find other tablets that are faster for less, or one that's bigger and more powerful for around the same price. That said, HP's tablet will let you game a bit without throwing up the white flag. It's clearly not targeted as a gaming tablet, but that's pretty obvious from its enterprise-focused features and its accessory pen.

Employees who are focused on data entry, and note-taking and illustrators who need digital copies of their doodles will love the Slate and its accompanying Duet Pen. The Pro Slate 12 is a worthy productivity tool for most businesses, with great apps and reliable digitisation tech, even if the Duet Pen can't quite handle the ruled lines of certain design work and it's running a slightly outdated processor and operating system. Nonetheless, there's much more to this device than the latest innovation in note-writing and minute-taking. It's a powerful, versatile and reasonably priced tablet for its screen size. Just make sure it stays out of the sun.

HP: Fundada em 1939, a empresa norte-americana é uma importante fabricante de servidores e impressoras e uma das principais empresas de TI do mundo. Até 2015, a empresa se chamava Hewlett-Packard Company. Após uma divisão, a divisão de computadores foi renomeada para HP Inc.

Em 2023, a HP tinha uma participação de mercado aproximada de 22% das vendas globais de PCs, o que a colocava em segundo lugar, depois da Lenovo.

Estes processadores gráficos podem mostrar fluidamente só jogos antigos. Jogos atuais só podem ser apresentados com detalhes substancialmente reduzidos.

Qualcomm Adreno 330:

Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail): GPU integrada para SoCs Bay Trail de tablet e portáteis. Baseada na GPU Ivy Bridge com quatro Unidades de Execução e suporte para DirectX 11.

Qualcomm Snapdragon:

800 MSM8974: SoC ARM de gama alta com 4 núcleos de CPU até 2,3 GHz e uma GPU Adreno 330 até 450 MHz. Baseia-se na arquitetura Krait 400 da Qualcomm e é produzido em um processo de 28nm HPM.

Intel Atom: A série Atom da Intel é um microprocessador de 64 Bits para portáteis pequenos e baratos, MIDs, ou UMPCs. A especialidade de sua nova arquitetura é a execução “in order” (ao inves de a usual mais rápida execução “out of order”). Assim, o trabalho do transistor é bem mais baixo na série Atom, e é mais barato para produzir.
