The ThinkPad T420 or T420i is a great option as a college laptop. It has the battery life, usability and build quality it takes to get work done around campus. The option of configuring either a budget level laptop of around $800 or high-end laptop configuration of $1,400+ is great and allows you to design a laptop that fits your needs, but still get the same build and design quality no matter what you include. I like the fact the option for a higher resolution screen is present, for those of us that find we can do work more efficiently using two windows open at once on the screen you will appreciate the 1600 x 900 resolution screen. Overall a thumbs up on buying the T420 that is a worth successor to the previous ThinkPad T410 and improves on an already great line of laptops.

The Lenovo ThinkPad T420 is a well-engineered 14" business notebook. It has the hallmark ThinkPad qualities including great build quality and a superior keyboard. I liked almost everything about it. The anti-glare screen prevents reflections and with a 1600x900 resolution, provides a lot of working space. The keyboard has a highly functional layout and the trackpoint and touchpad are easy to use. All this functionality can be taken to the road thanks to the 10 hours of battery from the optional 9-cell. A Lenovo também fornece integração de informação de tecnologia e serviços de suporte, e sua unidade QDI oferece fabricação sob contrato. Sua sede executiva está localizada na China e EUA. Ela é incorporada em Hong Kong. A Lenovo foi formada em 1984 como um subproduto, a nova unidade tecnológica da Academia Chinesa de Ciências. Intel HD Graphics 3000: 3 futuras placas de vídeo integradas (Q1 2011) nos processadores Intel Sandy Bridge (Core ix-2xxx). A 3000 / 200 é a versão mais veloz internamente chamada de GT2, com 12 Unidade de Execução (EUs).

NVIDIA NVS 4200M: Placa de vídeo empresarial que se baseia na GeForce GT 520M com BIOS e controladores especiais para aplicativos empresariais. No entanto, as velocidades de freqüência podem, em teoria, ultrapassar levemente a GT 520M, porém, no Latitude 6420 estão no nível da GT 520M.

Intel Core i7:

14.0: Uma tela de 14 polegadas é uma mistura entre os formatos pequenos de subportáteis e as telas de 15 polegadas padrão.
A razão do porquê tantas pessoas gostam de telas com tamanho médio é, que esse tamanho não é exaustivo para os olhos, não precisa de muita energia, mas por outra partre os portáteis podem ser mantidos bem compactos.
