The six-core XPS 13 is a strange computer. It feels like a holdover until something better is available in both design and internals. That first part probably isn’t too far off, since CES 2020 is just about a month away, but it’s hard to say how long it will be before Intel introduces Ice Lake chips that have six cores, a 10-nanometer die, and the improved Iris Plus Graphics. Once that happens, then we’ll have some real performance jumps in the thin and light category to celebrate.

In our review of Dell’s last XPS 13 - which ran on 8th Gen Intel hardware - our biggest complaint was that it felt like a more advanced CPU was just around the corner. Now that that’s played itself out, the new XPS 13 easily cements itself as one of the best professional work laptops you can buy. It’s got an effortlessly beautiful display, premium-yet-prepared design smarts and delivers close to the best performance in a laptop of its class. You just have to be willing to make the jump to USB Type-C. If you are, I doubt that there’s any aspect of the Dell XPS 13 that’s going to disappoint.

Intel UHD Graphics 620:

GPU (GT2, 24 EUs) integrada encontrada em alguns modelos de CPU Kaby-Lake (série ULV de 15 W). Tecnicamente idêntica ä anterior GPU Kaby-Lake chamada HD Graphics 620.

Estas placas também devem ser capazes de agüentar todos os jogos atuais, mas a maioria deles em configurações de detalhes médios e baixos e com baixas resoluções. Jogos mais antigos, ou menos exigentes ainda podem ser jogados com boa qualidade de gráficos.

i5-10210U:

Processador quad-core de baixa potência baseado em Comet Lake (tecnicamente idêntico ao Whiskey Lake e ainda produzido em 14nm++). Os núcleos da CPU podem ter velocidades entre 1,6 e 4,2 GHz (todos os 4 núcleos, 3,9 GHz no máximo) com HyperThreading (8 threads). O controlador de memória integrado suporta DDR4-2666 e, usando cTDP para up/down, o desempenho pode ser ajustado pelo OEM (10 - 25 Watts possível, 15 W padrão). Comparado ao i5-10510U mais rápido, o cache de nível 3 foi reduzido de 8 para 6 MB.
