The Acer Predator Helios 300 as we tested it was $800 less, yet had the same processor, GPU, amount of RAM, and screen resolution as our Aero 15. From a purely price-to-performance perspective, the Aero 15 isn’t all that impressive. But properly framed in the context of its design, overall quality, long battery life, and extras like the RGB-backlit keyboard, it’s hard to argue that the value proposition isn’t there. It’s well worth a first, second, and third look.
