The addition of thoughtful AI features like AI Call Assistant make the software feel genuinely helpful rather than gimmicky. Its clean design, vibrant AMOLED display, and strong battery life round out the package nicely. While the absence of wireless charging and a few quirks in the camera’s low-light and portrait performance may leave room for refinement, these don’t overshadow the phone’s overall appeal. If you are looking for a performance-focused, compact flagship with intelligent software features and solid all-round capabilities, the OnePlus 13s makes a compelling case.

EN→PTI like the idea of the OnePlus 13s; the phone is considerably smaller than the regular OnePlus 13 and 13R, and it just feels good to hold and use. OnePlus isn't shortchanging users with the hardware either, and the device has the same Qualcomm silicon as the regular OnePlus 13. You get the same 50MP camera as the 13R, but there's no wide-angle lens — the 13s has a 2x tele module instead. While the phone has a good in-hand feel, the design is unmistakably iPhone-esque, and I don't like that. Then there's the software; it is frustrating to use, and has far too many bugs and annoyances, with OnePlus turning its attention to buzzword-heavy AI utilities instead of addressing long-standing issues with OxygenOS. There is potential here, but the questionable design along with the software issues make me hesitant to recommend the 13s until OnePlus rolls out an update.

The cameras are the only area where the company appears to have cut corners to keep the handset's price low. And that's not necessarily a bad thing — if you're looking for a handset with an ultrawide camera or a more capable telephoto camera, you might want to take a look at the iQOO 13 (Review) or the recently launched Realme GT 7 Pro. If you need a smartphone that runs on iOS, the iPhone 16e (Review) or the older iPhone 15 (Review) also available at around the same price on Flipkart and Amazon.

Qualcomm Adreno 830: Unidade gráfica integrada no SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite para smartphones com três fatias de 1,1 GHz cada. Cache compartilhado de 12 MB integrado para os três slices. De acordo com a Qualcomm, 40% mais rápido do que a geração anterior (Adreno 750).
Estas placas também devem ser capazes de agüentar todos os jogos atuais, mas a maioria deles em configurações de detalhes médios e baixos e com baixas resoluções. Jogos mais antigos, ou menos exigentes ainda podem ser jogados com boa qualidade de gráficos.

SD 8 Elite: SoC (System on a Chip) de ponta para smartphones que foi apresentado no final de 2024. Ele integra dois núcleos Prime Oryon Gen 2 rápidos com até 4,32 GHz e 6 núcleos de desempenho Oryon Gen 2 menores com até 3,53 GHz.
