The configuration of the Toshiba Qosmio X500 that we reviewed, the X500-116, packs a powerful punch in terms of features and performance. That goes some way towards making up for its huge size and unappealing colour scheme, but we also think it's slightly too expensive.

EN→PT Archive.org versionIt’s been a while since we looked at one of Toshiba’s Qosmio laptops. In fact the last one was the G50-115 way back in 2008. A well-built and (generally) incredibly well-specified powerhouse of a system, the Toshiba Qosmio X500-10T is let down by Toshiba’s obsession with glossy plastic finishes and a surprisingly weak graphics card. However, if you can manage an extra £100, the next model up somewhat remedies this latter issue, making it the better option.

NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250M: A Nividia GeForce GTS 250M é uma placa gráfica para portáteis DirectX 10.1 baseada no núcleo de 40nm GT215. Ela apresenta 96 núcleos de shader como a 9800M GT, mas o seu bus de memória tem a largura de apenas 128 bit. Para compensar isso a GTS 250M tem suporte a GDDR5.
O núcleo da GTS250M é chamado internamente de GT215 e de acordo com a Nvidia é baseado na atual arquitetura topo de linha para desktops (série GTX 200).
Alguns jogos atuais não tão exigentes podem ser jogados fluentemente com poucos detalhes.

720QM: O Core i7-720QM é o Core i7 mais lento em 2009 e apresenta uma freqüência entre 1,6 e 2,8 GHz (graças ao Modo Turbo) Portanto, combina as vantagens de um CPU quad core lento com um veloz cpu de um só núcleo. Comparado com os CPUs Core i7 móveis, o 720QM somente apresenta 6MB L3 Cache.
