These days, netbook makers have to offer something special in order to justify a price above $300. Between the 2GB of RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium, and a decent keyboard and touchpad combo, the Acer Aspire One D260 does just that. Still, we give a slight edge to the Samsung NF310, which, for the same price, has a more distinctive design, a higher-resolution display, and better audio. Still, the D260 is also stylish, and it offers a larger hard drive and strong overall performance. For $358, this netbook is worth opening your wallet a bit wider.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 3150: Placa de vídeo integrada (memória compartilhada) nos CPUs Atom N4xx da Intel. Minimamente mais veloz que uma antiga GMA 950 e, portanto, não é adequada para jogos 3D ou vídeos HD (somente aceleração MPEG2).

Muitos jogos são dificilmente executados com estes adaptadores gráficos ou se executam muito lentamente.

Intel Atom: A série Atom da Intel é um microprocessador de 64 Bits para portáteis pequenos e baratos, MIDs, ou UMPCs. A especialidade de sua nova arquitetura é a execução “in order” (ao inves de a usual mais rápida execução “out of order”). Assim, o trabalho do transistor é bem mais baixo na série Atom, e é mais barato para produzir.

N550: O Atom Dual core com um TDP de apenas 8,5 Watts. Devido à baixa freqüência de 1,5 GHz, às vezes pode ser ainda mais lento que um CPU ATOM N465.
