The Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14-inch is a superbly crafted device with all the power and prestige you could ask of such a model. Its lack of ports and unusually stiff keys are small drawbacks – but the larger hurdle is the price. If you want a premium Chromebook experience, they don’t come much better than the Chromebook Plus 14-inch – but at this price, you’ll have to ask yourself whether a Windows laptop might be the better purchase.

HP Chromebook Plus 14a review: Not the kind of “plus” I was hoping for

At $449, I expect to make a few sacrifices, but the HP Chromebook Plus 14a rides the line on important sections like performance and battery life. At the very least, a budget laptop should offer enough performance to match its competitors and enough battery life to keep up with the rest. It’s hard not to recommend something else if you can't do that. If you’re already going to sacrifice some battery life, you might as well go with the Acer Chromebook Plus 515. It offers better performance and a larger display for a better price. Otherwise, if you’re looking for something compact, sturdy, and easy to use, the HP Chromebook Plus 14a is a solid choice.

Estas placas também devem ser capazes de agüentar todos os jogos atuais, mas a maioria deles em configurações de detalhes médios e baixos e com baixas resoluções. Jogos mais antigos, ou menos exigentes ainda podem ser jogados com boa qualidade de gráficos.
