Relógio Casio G-Shock de safira em edição limitada chega aos EUA

Casio has announced that the new G-Shock MR-G MRGD5000 will be released in the US in the future. This premium digital watch was unveiled in Japan at the start of October 2026, alongside the GMWB5000SB-1A2 and the MRGB5000SA-2.

The Casio G-Shock MRGD5000 is a limited edition watch, with only 20 pieces set to be available worldwide. The company has confirmed that six of these timepieces will be offered to customers in the US, each retailing for $80,000. The units will be released in small numbers, perhaps even one at a time, between December 2026 and June 2027.

What makes the Casio G-Shock MRGD5000 so premium is, in part, its unique shock resistant structure, with various components made from blue sapphire crystal. The casing also uses titanium elements, and the watch comes with a Dura Soft rubber strap, finished with a one-touch 3-fold clasp.

Features of the Casio G-Shock MRGD5000 Blue Sapphire include radio control (Multi band 6), support for up to five time zones and a fully automatic calendar. On the digital display, users can access tools such as a countdown timer, stopwatch and alarms. Plus, the watch is water resistant to 200 m and comes with Tough Solar charging.
