Vislumbramos o que a próxima geração de gráficos integrados da Intel pode fazer e é muito bom para uma solução não-discreta de 10 nm. Agora, a Intel terá que dar o preço certo para que valha a pena a compra sobre os laptops Ryzen ou GeForce MX existentes que oferecem desempenho gráfico semelhante.

Recentemente tivemos a oportunidade de comparar a GPU Intel Xe G7 integrada que será lançada com a série de processadores Tiger Lake-U da 11ª geração. Embora nossa unidade de teste fosse um kit de desenvolvimento Intel com drivers preliminares que podem não ser representações perfeitas dos modelos de varejo, os dados ainda devem nos dar uma idéia do que esperar, especialmente porque o lançamento dos laptops de varejo Tiger Lake está programado para este mês de outubro.

Em média, os usuários podem esperar que a nova GPU Intel troque golpes contra a GeForce MX250 e a Radeon RX Vega 8, como encontrado nas mais recentes CPUs Ryzen série U ao rodar jogos do mundo real. Os resultados são impressionantes e decepcionantes; impressionantes porque a Intel pode oferecer desempenho semelhante com um processo de fabricação maior de 10 nm e decepcionantes porque levou mais de meio ano para que eles estivessem em pé de igualdade com a série Zen 2 U de 7 nm.
