Na arquitetura Comet Lake, processador baseado na arquitetura para laptops grandes e pesados. Integra oito núcleos de processador com relógio a 3,1 - 5 GHz que suportam HyperThreading. Fabricado em um processo melhorado de 14nm (14nm++). No momento do anúncio, a i9-10980HK é a CPU Comet Lake-H mais rápida do mercado e a CPU mais rápida para laptops. Graças ao multiplicador livre, a CPU também pode ser facilmente overclocked (mas pode não ter muito espaço de manobra).
