I could have lived with the slightly worse speakers and somewhat lower battery performance in order to enjoy the fantastic 90Hz screen, however the camera disadvantages are just a tad too much. OnePlus can very much remedy these aspects over the coming weeks and months, and I’m very sure there will be software updates in this regard, but it's unknown just exactly how much OnePlus will improve these aspects, and one shouldn’t base one’s purchasing decisions today on tomorrow’s possible improvements.

Qualcomm Adreno 640:

Chip gráfico para smartphones e tablets integrado ao SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. A Qualcomm afirma que é 20% mais rápido que o Adreno 630 no SoC Snapdragon 845 e oferece 50% mais unidades de computação (ALUs).

Alguns jogos atuais não tão exigentes podem ser jogados fluentemente com poucos detalhes.

SD 855:

SoC de gama alta para smartphones, que foi apresentado no final de 2018 e é produzido em 7 nm na TSMC. Integra um Prime Core baseado em uma arquitetura ARM Cortex-A76 com velocidade de até 2.84 GHz. Três outros núcleos de desempenho também se baseiam no A76, mas com velocidade de até 2,42 GHz. Além disso, quatro núcleos de economia de energia estão integrados, baseados na arquitetura ARM Cortex-A55 e com velocidade de até 1,8 GHz. Além dos núcleos do processador, o SoC integra um modem LTE X24 (download de até 2 Gigbit), um novo modem Wi-Fi (pronto para Wi-Fi 6, 60 GHz mmWave), Hexagon 690 DSP com novos núcleos Tensor para processamento de IA, um ISP Spectra 380 com um mecanismo de visão computacional integrado e um controlador de memória LPDDR4x integrado.
