Its performance as a tablet is good and can multitask well along with running any app or game you throw at it. DeX is interesting and does give the device a laptop-like feel. Samsung’s chosen it hardware wisely, you get 10.5-inch WQXGA Super AMOLED display, clear sound with the AKG speakers, 64 GB of storage (expandable to 512 GB) and the flexibility of DeX, which makes it almost as useful as a desktop when needed (Book Cover Keyboard is a must + a Bluetooth mouse is a good addition). It may fall a bit short on the processing power with a 670 SoC and 4 GB RAM, but it chugs along fine for most day to day tasks and casual games. In short, there's really nothing like it in the market at this price point. This makes it a great tablet option to go in for if you have a spare Rs 39,999 to splurge on a device with a bigger display, which will mainly be used for watching Netflix and if you buy the keyboard, some office work and internet browsing as well.

As we suspected, the Galaxy Tab S5e is an excellent Android slate and one of the best tablets around. Apple's iPads are the only real competition. Samsung has brought the excellent screen from the Tab S4 into a thinner and lighter frame, which also has a preferable metal build. There's also excellent speakers and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. We'd say getting the 6/128GB model is going to be worth it since it's not much more expensive than the base model. There are only really two let downs here and that's the lack of a headphone jack and the processor isn't a powerhouse. However, for the enterainment devices it's pitched as, the Tab S5e is perfectly smooth. Only intensive gaming or mutli-tasking will slow it down. The headphone jack situation is partially solved by the included dongle, or you can use USB-C or wireless headphones.
