A AMD apresentou pela primeira vez as GPUs Golden Rabbit Edition (ou Great Radeon Edition) como placas exclusivas da China, começando com a Navi 31 Radeon RX 7900 GRE em julho de 2023.
Mais tarde naquele ano, a AMD também lançou a RX 6750 GRE baseada no Navi 22 em variantes de 10 GB e 12 GB.
Embora a RX 6750 GRE não tenha sido lançada oficialmente em nível global, a AMD trouxe o RX 7900 GRE em todo o mundo com um preço sugerido de US$ 549.
Agora, a AMD está repetindo a história com a nova RX 9070 GRE baseada no Navi 48. A placa foi lançada originalmente na China em maio de 2025, mas agora estará disponível globalmente, começando com o mesmo preço sugerido de US$ 549 da RX 9070.
