Caixa e características - B2502FBA com Thunderbolt 4

A Asus usa uma caixa feita de metal (tampa traseira) e plástico (unidade base) para a B2. As superfícies negras mate do chassi são suscetíveis a impressões digitais. A unidade base e a tampa podem ser um pouco torcidas, mas não há falhas perceptíveis na construção. A bateria (parafusada, não colada) e as outras entranhas são acessíveis após a remoção da unidade base.

O conversível vem com duas portas USB-A (1x USB 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB 2.0) e duas portas USB-C (1x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2). Esta última suporta o fornecimento de energia e a porta TB4 também oferece DisplayPort sobre USB-C. Assim, a B2 tem duas saídas de vídeo (HDMI, e DP). Um leitor de cartão de memória não está disponível. Bom: a webcam (0,9 MP, máx. 1.280 x 720 pixels) tem uma tampa mecânica.

As taxas de transferência WLAN são excelentes e correspondem às capacidades do chip Wi-Fi (Intel AX211; 802.11ax). O modem 5G instalado (Fibocom FM350-GL) permite conexões de rede através da rede 5G ou LTE. O eSIM é suportado, alternativamente, um portador físico de cartão SIM está dentro do notebook.

Dispositivos de entrada - O notebook 2-em-1 vem com um TrackPoint

O teclado chiclet (iluminação de um nível, à prova de respingos) é composto de teclas côncavas. Estas oferecem um curso médio e têm um ponto de pressão claro. A resistência bastante crocante é agradável. O teclado rende o mínimo durante a digitação. Não se mostrou incomodativo. No geral, o Asus fornece um teclado adequado para o uso diário.

A superfície lisa do ClickPad (cerca de 10 x 6,2 cm), capaz de dar múltiplos toques, facilita o deslizamento dos dedos. A almofada também responde às entradas nos cantos. Tem um curso curto e um ponto de pressão claro. Outro substituto do mouse é um TrackPoint, que permite um controle bastante preciso do ponteiro do mouse. As teclas suaves do mouse oferecem um ponto de pressão claro.

A tela sensível ao toque (até dez pontos de toque) responde prontamente às entradas. Ela pode ser operada com os dedos, bem como com a caneta Asus incluída (SA201H, MPP 2.0). Esta última se sente bem na mão, a ponta da caneta desliza suavemente sobre a tela. A caneta se prende magneticamente no lado direito da tampa.

O notebook tem três perfis de desempenho específicos do fabricante ("Performance Mode", "Balanced Mode", "Whisper Mode"), que podem ser alternados através da combinação de teclas "Fn" + "F". Emissões e energia - O Asus conversível quase não aquece

Emissões sonoras

O ExpertBook não é um dos cadernos mais silenciosos. A baixa carga faz com que a rotação do ventilador seja audível, e um nível de pressão sonora de até 46 dB(A) é atingido sob carga média a plena. O ventilador nunca fica parado - nem mesmo no modo ocioso. Geralmente emite um ruído constante sem ruídos laterais incômodos (assobios). Mudanças freqüentes de nível de ruído geralmente não ocorrem. O uso do perfil de desempenho "Whisper mode" reduz o desenvolvimento de ruído em geral - às custas do desempenho do computador.

O conversível não aquece muito. Uma temperatura de mais de 40 graus Celsius foi registrada em um ponto de medição durante o teste de estresse. No uso diário (escritório, Internet), as taxas estão na zona verde

CPU (1,2 a 1,5 GHz) e GPU (750 MHz) funcionam com baixas taxas de relógio já no início do teste de estresse (Prime95 e Furmark funcionam por pelo menos uma hora). As taxas caem no curso seguinte. O teste de estresse representa um cenário extremo. Utilizamos este teste para verificar se o sistema funciona de forma estável sob carga máxima.

Com o ExpertBook B2 Flip, a Asus entrega um caderno 2-em-1 que se destina principalmente ao uso profissional. No lado do hardware, o dispositivo está equipado para todos os cenários de aplicação concebíveis de um conversível. Entretanto, o dispositivo mostra fraquezas que não devem ocorrer a este nível de preço.

Apesar de seus pontos fracos, o ExpertBook deve encontrar seus compradores. A combinação de uma tela sensível ao toque de baixa reflexão, formato de 15,6 polegadas e modem 5G dificilmente é encontrada no segmento de laptops 2 em 1

O Núcleo i7-1260Poferece desempenho suficiente para aplicações de escritório e Internet, mas permanece abaixo de suas capacidades. Apesar do reduzido poder computacional, o conversível não é particularmente silencioso. Além disso, há uma tela escura, de baixo contraste, com baixa cobertura de espaço colorido. Uma bateria de pequena capacidade (48 Wh) leva a tempos de execução ruins: um tempo de execução WLAN de cerca de 5,5 h não está mais atualizado.

No entanto, há também aspectos positivos: A tela de toque tem uma superfície de baixa reflexão. Ela também pode ser operada com os dedos ou com a caneta Asus incluída. Um slot Thunderbolt 4 (Power Delivery, DisplayPort) abre possibilidades de expansão. As redes podem ser acessadas via Ethernet, WiFi, LTE, e 5G. Além disso, o dispositivo mal aquece. Recomendável: A Asus concede uma garantia de três anos - em todo o mundo.

Uma alternativa para o Asus conversível seria o Dell Inspiron 16 7620. Oferece uma tela globalmente melhor, tempos de funcionamento da bateria significativamente maiores, e obtém mais desempenho com o Core i7-1260P. Entretanto, o laptop não tem um modem 5G - nem mesmo como opção.
