O Acer Spin 5 SP515 é um elegante conversível de 15 polegadas com uma boa quantidade de poder 3D. O energeticamente eficiente, porém, poderoso Intel Core i7-8550U serve como base. 8 GB de RAM DDR4 não é muito, mas é suficiente para o uso cotidiano. Ambos os dispositivos de armazenamento funcionam bem e contribuem para um sistema muito responsivo. Como destaque, o Acer Spin 5 SP515 oferece uma Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 com 4 GB de VRAM, que pode  transformar o conversível em um pequeno portátil de jogos rapidamente.

Aqueles que procuram um portátil de jogos e não desejam renunciar à vantagem de um conversível estarão bastante satisfeitos com o Acer Spin 5 SP515.

O Acer Spin 5 SP515 impressiona com sua carcaça fina e impecavelmente construída. A escolha dos materiais é muito boa. Faz com que o dispositivo pareça e se sinta de alto valor. A grande versatilidade de um conversível torna o dispositivo bastante atraente. Graças a uma GPU muito boa (para um conversível), o Acer Spin 5 SP515 pode ser usado para jogar videogames. Em suma, os componentes funcionam muito bem juntos, o que resulta em um desempenho muito bom do sistema. Em termos de tela, as opiniões podem variar. Considerando que é bastante adequado para uso doméstico, para uso em exteriores, um terá que fazer certas concessões. No que diz respeito à temperatura, o Acer Spin 5 SP515 não consegue impressionar, porque a unidade de resfriamento foi superada durante nosso teste de estresse. As portas podem ser classificados como "boas". No entanto, gostaríamos de ver uma porta USB 3.1 tipo-C Gen 2. O leitor de cartões SD deveria ter oferecido velocidades USB 3.0, de modo a não abater o rápido SSD NVMe.
