Como já foi mencionado na final da introdução, o Asus ZenPad S 8.0 tem o potencial para um tablet top. Nossa análise não conseguiu mudar essa impressão. No entanto, não é suficientemente bom para um lugar em nossas listas. O carro chefe da Asus tem algumas falhas. Vamos ver um por um.

Vamos começar com a carcaça. A Asus fez muitas coisas bem. É atraente visualmente, é leve e compacto. A qualidade de construção está em um nível alto. Infelizmente falta estabilidade. Ele já range quando aplicada um pressão baixa e range e se flexiona bastante. Porém, os botões e o slot microSD estão integrados na carcaça de forma exemplar.

As especificações técnicas são muito aptas para a afirmação de gama alta, ainda mais com os 4 GB de RAM. Também há muitos recursos, mas o OSB-OTG e o MHL estão faltando. Em compensação, os padrões de rádio são muito modernos. Porém, a recepção do módulo WLAN deve ser melhor na rede de 5 GHz.

Em nossos benchmarks, o chip Intel mostra que também pode rivalizar com a elite dos SoCs. O tablet é muito veloz durante a navegação pela web. O desempenho alcançado é suplementado por boas câmeras, alto falantes aceitáveis e uma tela acima da média. Porém, aqui é onde nossa crítica começa.

A tela deveria ter sido mais brilhante, dado que o muito leve tablet é ideal para o uso móvel. Além disso, a distribuição do brilho não é ótima, mas não é perturbante durante o uso cotidiano. Porém, a pobre duração da bateria e o rápido afogamento são. Finalmente reduzimos a avaliação geral em um por cento devido ao último.

Apesar de tudo, o Asus ZenPad S 8.0 pertence aos melhores tablets de 8-polegadas e é recomendável por causa de seu preço justo.
