The trackpad is OK but could be improved. I suggest you shell out for the mini-LED display because it is fantastic. It’s bright with great color reproduction and the blacks are great as are the whites.

If you want a graphic design laptop with extra oomph behind it, I recommend the Alienware 18 Area-51. Its Stealth Mode feature disables all RGB lighting, allowing the gaming laptop to fit right in an office setting. Be mindful of its battery life because it's not great either. Personally, I would go with Dell's laptop. Its performance is rock solid, and it is a more affordable option than the base Alienware 18, which costs $3,200.

2025 Dell 16 Premium and 14 Premium Laptop Review: XPS reborn with Arrow Lake processors in a familiar design

The new Dell 16 Premium and Dell 14 Premium have a couple of key differences from last year. The most obvious and main difference is that they are no longer called XPS. The other differences come with configuration and performance. These new machines are now running Intel’s latest Arrow Lake processors and NVIDIA’s latest dedicated GPUs. Arrow and Lunar Lake processors have proven to be much better on battery life with the new CPU/GPU/NPU integration, and that continues to be the case here. Normally, I might advise folks to save some money and purchase last year’s models discounted. But with the new performance boosts, you can’t go wrong with buying the Dell 16 Premium or the 14 now. Dell is already running specials to get the ball rolling on these new devices. Yes, you might miss the XPS name, but you’re essentially getting everything but the name here.

O 140V tem 8 núcleos de arquitetura Xe² executados a até 2.050 MHz e 8 unidades de traçado de raios; ele é compatível com DirectX 12 Ultimate e também suporta todos os codecs de vídeo modernos. Se os recentes vazamentos de pontuações de benchmark forem alguma indicação, seu desempenho em jogos deverá ser um pouco melhor do que o do GeForce MX570.

Estas placas de vídeo devem ser capazes de agüentar jogos modernos (com algumas exceções) com altas resoluções e altos detalhes.

Ultra 7 255H: Processador móvel de ponta baseado na arquitetura Arrow Lake com 16 núcleos divididos em 3 clusters. Os 6 núcleos P rápidos têm clock de até 5,1 GHz. Há também 8 núcleos E menores com até 4,4 GHz e 2 núcleos pequenos de baixo consumo de energia (mesma arquitetura) com até 2,5 GHz. Ele integra uma pequena NPU com desempenho de pico de 13 TOPS e oferece suporte ao vPro Essentials.
