O MateBook 16s já está à venda em Portugal por 1699€ a versão i7 e 1899€ a versão i9, e certamente não será para todos, mas não está a tentar ser para todos. Para aqueles que precisam do espaço extra do ecrã, a visualização 3:2 aqui será uma grande ponto a favor dos 16s. É expansivo, bem proporcionado, e cuidadosamente calibrado por cores, e é certamente um dos maiores e melhores ecrãs disponíveis a este preço. O desempenho da CPU é também excepcional graças aos chips da série H de 12ª geração da Intel, o que faz deste um computador pontente. A falta de uma opção de GPU dedicada irá inegavelmente limitar o apelo a editores de vídeo profissionais ou a qualquer pessoa que deseje usar isto para jogar, mas não descarte desde já os gráficos integrados do Iris Xe, já que fornece um exclenete bastante para trabalho de escritório e mesmo edição de fotos e design gráfico mais leve.

Creatives that need more than Photoshop might be underwhelmed, but the Matebook 16S absolutely earns a place on the shortlist for other workers that aren’t chained to an office desk.

A solid example of a good alternative is the new MacBook Air 15, which lands around the same price but boasts superior hardware. Samsung also has the Galaxy Book3 in multiple sizes, flavours, and AMOLED screens around this price tag. There’s also the Asus Zenbook Pro 14 Duo, which is smaller in size but makes up for it with the extra screen. There are also quite a few gaming laptop options in this price bracket that tick the right boxes. Many of the best laptops around are more exciting – be it Apple Silicon, AMOLED screens, or the novelty and practicality of a dual display. The MateBook 16s almost seems boring in comparison, but that’s not a bad thing for everybody. It performs decently and blends in.

Estas placas também devem ser capazes de agüentar todos os jogos atuais, mas a maioria deles em configurações de detalhes médios e baixos e com baixas resoluções. Jogos mais antigos, ou menos exigentes ainda podem ser jogados com boa qualidade de gráficos.

Intel Alder Lake-S:

i7-12700H:

Um processador móvel à base de Alder-Lake com 6 núcleos de desempenho e 8 núcleos eficientes. Os núcleos de desempenho oferecem hiper-roscagem, permitindo o processamento de 20 roscas. O processador funciona a frequências que vão de 1,7 a 4,7 GHz e suporta vPro.

Intel Raptor Lake-H:

i9-13900H: CPU móvel baseada em Alder Lake com 6 núcleos de desempenho e 8 núcleos eficientes. Os núcleos de desempenho oferecem hyper threading, levando a 20 threads que podem ser processados. O clock da CPU é de até 5,4 GHz. Em comparação com o i9-13900HK, não há suporte para overclocking fácil, mas sim para o conjunto completo de recursos de gerenciamento vPro.
