Não é barato, mas é bem caro. O laptop de 14 polegadas da Acer marca alguns pontos importantes graças a sua grande autonomia de bateria, operação silenciosa, luz de fundo do teclado e tela IPS fosca. O Pentium Silver N6000 quad-core tem uma performance tão boa quanto um chip Skylake. O Windows não está incluído. O pacote completo custa 279 euros (~$315).

O Acer Swift 1 é um simples caderno de escritório de 14 polegadas, que custa apenas 279 Euros (~$315). Estojo - Swift 1 é feito de alumínio

Embora o Swift 1 seja um dispositivo de nível básico, ele é feito de materiais de primeira qualidade. A tampa do display e o chassi são feitos de metal. O dispositivo vem com os seguintes esquemas de cores: Prata (nosso modelo), Ouro e Rosa. As moldura da tela são sempre pretas. A bateria é soldada. Para chegar aos componentes internos, os usuários terão que remover a placa inferior.

A carcaça é bem feita. Não há frestas ou fendas ou qualquer outro defeito. Tanto a tampa da tela quanto o chassi exibem uma quantidade moderada de flex. As dobradiças podem manter a tela em posição e ter um ângulo de abertura de 120°. Quando aberta, a tampa do visor levanta levemente a parte superior do dispositivo. A tampa do mostrador pode ser aberta com uma mão.

Conectividade - O SF114-34 não suporta fornecimento de energia através de USB

Todas as três portas (2x USB-A, 1x USB-C) da Swift 1 são baseadas no padrão USB 3.2 Gen 1. Infelizmente, a porta USB-C não suporta o fornecimento de energia e a funcionalidade DisplayPort. Um display externo pode ser conectado através da porta HDMI. O laptop de 14 polegadas não possui um leitor de cartões SD. As portas estão localizadas em ambos os lados do chassi (perto da tela).

Comunicação

Manutenção

Os componentes internos podem ser acessados pela remoção da tampa inferior. Para isso, todos os parafusos no fundo terão que ser desfeitos. Posteriormente, a tampa inferior pode ser removida com a ajuda de um spudger. A bateria, o módulo Wi-Fi, o slot M.2 (M.2-2280, NVMe) e a bateria BIOS podem ser acessados após a remoção da placa inferior.

Garantia

A Acer concede 2 anos de garantia para a Swift 1. Para estender a garantia para 3 anos, os compradores terão que pagar um adicional de 50 Euros (~$57).

Sistema operacional

O Swift 1 não vem com o sistema operacional Windows. Aqueles que já possuem uma licença Windows podem instalar facilmente o Windows 10. O Linux pode ser usado como alternativa. Conseguimos instalar o Ubuntu 20.04 LTS sem nenhum problema. Quase todo o hardware da Acer Swift 1 foi reconhecido instantaneamente e funcionou como esperado. Apenas a chave de função, que é usada para ativar/desativar o modo avião, não funcionou. Entretanto, após a instalação da atualização recomendada, tudo funcionou.

Teclado

As teclas planas, lisas e com luz de fundo do teclado em estilo de veículo oferecem um ponto de atuação claro e uma distância de viagem curta. As teclas exigem uma quantidade moderada de força a ser pressionada. Ao digitar, a parte superior do teclado exibe alguma flexibilidade. A luz de fundo de um nível pode ser ativada/desativada com uma tecla de função. No total, o Swift 1 tem um teclado decente.

Touchpad

Um clickpad multi-touch (10,5x6,5 cm / 4,13x2,55 in) serve como substituto do mouse. Tem uma superfície lisa, curta distância de deslocamento e um ponto de acionamento claro. O tapete não tem problemas para registrar entradas, mesmo nos cantos.

O brilho (264,8 cd/m²) e a relação de contraste (952:1) não são impressionantes, mas estão bem para um dispositivo desse tipo. Vemos o brilho de 300 cd/m² e a relação de contraste de pelo menos 1000:1 como boa.

Com 10% de brilho e abaixo, a tela cintila a uma freqüência de 25000 Hz. A cintilação não é perceptível. Como a freqüência é tão alta, mesmo indivíduos sensíveis não devem sentir dores de cabeça ou tensão ocular.

Configurações do sistema

O fabricante não fornece nenhum perfil personalizado para a Swift 1. São utilizados perfis padrão do Windows. Os benchmarks foram conduzidos utilizando o plano de potência "High Performance". A CPU tem dois limites de potência (PL1: 7 W; PL2: 20 W).

Nota: Alguns dos seguintes benchmarks foram conduzidos com o modelo identicamente construído da Acer Swift 1 (SF114-34-P91A), que apresenta 8 GB de RAM de canal duplo

Processador

O Swift 1 é alimentado pelo quad-core Pentium Silver N6000 (Lago Jasper). Como o chip tem um TDP de 6 W, ele pode ser resfriado de forma passiva. A CPU tem um relógio de base de 1,1 GHz e um relógio de impulso de 3,3 GHz. Não é suportada a hiperreading (dois fios por núcleo).

No Cinebench R15, o processador funciona inicialmente a 3,1 GHz na seção multi-core e de 3,1 a 3,3 GHz na seção single-core. Entretanto, as taxas de clock caem rapidamente para 2 GHz na seção multi-core e 2,6 a 2,7 GHz na seção single-core. O nível de desempenho não muda quando o laptop é desconectado da tomada.

A CPU proporciona um nível de desempenho consideravelmente maior do que sua predecessora (Pentium Silver N5000). Isto se deve em grande parte à nova arquitetura do Lago Jasper. O laptop Aver vem com um módulo eMMC de 128 GB. Ele atinge exatamente os tipos de velocidades que esperaríamos ver de um dispositivo de armazenamento deste tipo. Dentro do laptop, há um slot para um SSD NVMe (M.2 2280). Um SSD pode ser usado como unidade do sistema (nós verificamos).

Nota: O módulo eMMC está dividido em duas partições (113 GB, 3 GB). A partição menor contém todos os drivers necessários para Windows. Isto simplifica significativamente o processo de instalação do Windows.

O chip UHD Graphics (Jasper Lake, 32 EUs) é responsável pela renderização da imagem. Ele suporta DirectX 12 e tem um relógio de impulso de 900 MHz. O iGPU pode facilmente bater seu predecessor. A Swift 1 atingiu um tempo de funcionamento da bateria de 11h 33m em nosso teste Wi-Fi, que simula cargas que provavelmente ocorrerão ao navegar na web. Em nosso teste de vídeo, no qual fizemos o loop do filme curto conhecido como Big Buck Bunny (H.264, FHD), o laptop durou 16h 21m. Durante ambos os testes, as funções de economia de energia são desligadas e o brilho é ajustado para 150 cd/m². Além disso, no teste de vídeo, os módulos de comunicação são desativados.

O Swift 1 SF114-34 é um laptop compacto de 14 polegadas, que tem muitos atributos desejáveis, tais como operação silenciosa, sem superaquecimento, grande autonomia de bateria (11 a 16 horas) e um preço de apenas 279 Euros (~$315).

O Acer Swift 1 SF114-34 não deve ser visto como um grande allrounder. É apenas uma simples máquina de escritório/web-browsing.

O Pentium Silver N6000 oferece desempenho suficiente para aplicações de escritório e baseadas na web, bem como streaming de vídeo. É consideravelmente mais rápido do que o predecessor (Pentium Silver N5000).

O principal gargalo do sistema é 4 GB de RAM soldada em um único canal. Se você estiver interessado na Swift 1, então você deve obter a versão com 8 GB de RAM de canal duplo, que oferece mais desempenho e é mais à prova de futuro. 128 GB de memória eMMC não é muito, mas deve ser suficiente para a maioria dos usuários. Além disso, um SSD NVMe (M.2-2280) pode ser adicionado ao laptop.

A tela IPS mate não impressiona, mas não há problema para um notebook nesta faixa de preço. O teclado é utilizável e tem uma luz de fundo. O Swift 1 não pode ser carregado através de suas portas USB

Nosso modelo de revisão não vem com o Windows pré-instalado. Aqueles que não possuem uma licença Windows e não desejam obtê-la podem usar o Linux como sistema operacional. Atualmente, não existe uma alternativa real para o Acer Swift 1
