EN→PTWith so many phones priced between $400 and $600, finding the perfect one means choosing which features to prioritize. To that end, the Samsung Galaxy A57 has plenty to offer, including a large, sharp screen, plenty of battery life, capable cameras, and an introductory set of AI tools. It's a little slow, but it's as durable as any other phone at this price point.

EN→PTThere’s a heck of a lot of stiff competition in the budget smartphone category right now, and there’s one thing that stops the A57 being a complete knock-out winner (well two if you count the Samsung S25 FE). But mostly it’s the 3rd camera – the 5MP macro camera should have been replaced with a telephoto camera by now – meaning that the S25 FE (with telephoto camera) is a much better option if you can get it at the same price (and you also benefit from DeX, wireless charging, a better processor and more).

EN→PTSamsung Galaxy A57 is competing in a tough market against mid-rangers from both Apple and Google. The iPhone 17e is probably the best buy as it has the most performance headroom and thus will last the longest. But if you are an Android fan then the Galaxy A57 is Samsung’s most complete mid-ranger in a number of years.

EN→PTAt R11 999 (RRP), the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G does indeed continue the line up’s recent tradition of delivering solidly speeded mid-range phones with clean designs and flagship-level features for a decent price. The problem this device faces, however, is a growing number of competitors that are offering mid-range smartphones that can boast the same selling points. For now, the Samsung brand is strong, and the A57 5G is a good prospect, but it faces a saturated market where standing out is proving increasingly difficult.

EN→PTThe Samsung Galaxy A57 is a well-built, well-supported and well-designed phone that gets a great deal right. But the price is the conversation the A57 cannot escape. At Rs 56,999 for the base variant, Samsung is asking significantly more than the A56 ever commanded and the upgrades, while real, are uneven. The camera hardware is essentially unchanged. Charging remains at 45 W in a segment that has moved on to faster standards. The display stays at Full HD+ when 1.5K has become the benchmark for this price bracket. And the low-light camera performance, particularly through Night Mode, is not the step change this price demands. For buyers upgrading from an A55 or older, the A57 is an easy recommendation because the cumulative improvements are significant and the long-term software commitment is compelling. For A56 owners, the case is much harder to make. And for anyone entering this segment fresh at around Rs 57,000, the competition is serious and informed. The A57 is a good phone, but we would advise buyers to be on the lookout for a price cut or discounts during sale season.

EN→PTThe Galaxy A57 5G has me conflicted because there is so much about it that I genuinely like. It is thin, light, well-built, comfortable to use, and easily one of the nicest mid-range phones I’ve held in years. The display is great, the main camera takes photos I’d happily post, the battery comfortably lasts a full day, and One UI 8.5 runs lighter than any version of Samsung’s skin has in years. Even after switching from the Z Fold 7, I never felt desperate to move my SIM back. That says a lot. But the A57 5G also leaves a few obvious upgrades on the table. A more capable processor would have fixed half the complaints in this review on its own, including the thermals, the stutters, and the camera app’s occasional lag. The ultrawide camera could have used a real upgrade, and the macro camera just deserves a quiet retirement. Wireless charging would have been nice, too.None of these is an obvious dealbreaker. The biggest problem with recommending the Galaxy A57 5G is Samsung’s own Galaxy S25 FE ($534.99 at Samsung). It has significantly more power, a dedicated telephoto lens, wireless charging, and the badge of being part of Samsung’s flagship lineup. Even at MSRP, it’s only $100 more than the A57 5G, and it’s already been going on sale for the same price as the A57 5G, and sometimes even less.If you want something smaller, the superb Pixel 10a ($499 at Amazon) offers the full Google Pixel experience for slightly less. It runs an older but still flagship-grade Tensor chip, includes wireless charging, has one of the best point-and-shoot cameras in any price range, and gets seven years of software updates — one year more than Samsung’s phone.

Samsung’s new Galaxy A57 brings subtle but meaningful refinements to the midrange market, undercutting last year's Galaxy A56. But is the A57 a genuine generational leap worth the extra cash, or should you save some money and stick with the A56?

EN→PTThe Samsung Galaxy A57 succeeds because it focuses on delivering a balanced experience instead of chasing specifications alone. It looks premium, feels comfortable, has an excellent display, reliable cameras, strong battery life, and polished software. Yes, performance could have been more powerful, and some flagship-level features are missing. But during my time with the phone, those compromises never seriously damaged the overall experience. What surprised me most was how refined the Galaxy A57 felt in everyday use. Samsung has managed to create a mid-range phone that genuinely feels premium in several important areas. For users wanting a stylish, dependable smartphone with long software support and a fantastic display, the Galaxy A57 is easily one of the best options in its category.

EN→PTThe Galaxy A57 5G is no flagship, that much is clear, but it's a very capable phone for daily use and its thin and light design is an absolute delight. If you don't do a lot of gaming or dabble into more heavier tasks often, you will find it sufficient. It's a good average phone that performs mostly... well, average. If that sounds like you, you don't really need to spend a small fortune on a flagship. What will you miss out on? Well, wireless charging, a proper functioning fingerprint scanner, good zoom quality, and slower storage/transfer speeds. If you, however, care about those things and want a phone that will remain fast for years to come, the $500 price premium is definitely worth considering.

EN→PTThe Galaxy A57 is clearly a minor upgrade. There is practically no change in the camera quality, the performance is roughly the same as before, and the battery life has gotten a bit worse in our testing. The only real win here is that Samsung has made the Galaxy A57 noticeably thinner and lighter, which I do appreciate. But is it worth upgrading for such a small refinement? And is it justified to charge $50 more for this change? I think most of you would agree that the answer is a clear "no". The A57 will continue to be a staple of the mid-range segment since it's one of few phones in this price range with a big screen, but you'd better buy it when it's discounted.

EN→PTI think this is really a no brainer. When it comes to mid-range phones, I was pretty happy with the Pixel 10a and I maintained that it was the best mid-range offering, coming in at $499. Now that I’ve reviewed the Galaxy A57 though, I think this is the new mid-range king and that’s because it gives an overall better. The camera quality is about the same, though I do think the photos look a little nicer coming from the Galaxy A57. Battery life is also pretty similar, but I think the biggest things that set this phone apart are its gorgeous display, and its performance. While the fingerprint sensor is a bit slow, I think overall the Galaxy A57 performs pretty well in most use case scenarios. So for $549.99, I think yes, this is a phone you should definitely buy if you’re looking for something mid-range. If you’re willing to spend a little more money, like $100 and up, then maybe this isn’t the device for you because then we’re starting to get pretty close to low-cost flagships. However, around this price point, this an excellent choice. Even more so when you consider the price will probably come down in the next six months, if it even takes that long.

EN→PTFirst, I would say that both are excellent mid-range phones, but each has unique advantages. The bigger screen of the Galaxy might alone be a reason to buy as the iPhone just feels too cramped. At the same time, the Galaxy is thin and lightweight, so it doesn't really feel like a big phone. It's my favorite mid-range phone when it comes to design.I would also get the Galaxy for the smoother daily performance with that 120Hz refresh rate, the brighter screen outdoors and the faster charging. Go for the iPhone if you prefer the Apple ecosystem, if you want the performance power to know that your phone will stay zippy for years to come and if you want the better camera for both photos and videos. And if you want wireless charging.

EN→PTIn the beginning of the review, I told you that while I was impressed by the slim design at first, one word kept echoing in my mind all the time I was using the Galaxy A57 5G. And that word was... "average". How is the performance of Samsung's new mid-ranger? Average. What about the cameras? Well, average! And the battery life? You guessed it, perfectly average. To be fair, that is a perfectly adequate description of a mid-range phone. And there are a few things that stand out too. The slim and lightweight design is my favorite feature of the A57, I wish more phones adopted it, it's absolutely brilliant. The fast charging speeds are very nice, and the loudspeaker quality surprised me. As for my biggest gripe with this phone, it's the super slow fingerprint reader. So what are your alternatives? In the same price bracket, you now have the iPhone 17e and the Pixel 10a, both of which win when it comes to the processor and the camera. The A57 is also far too close in price to the Galaxy S25 FE, which again has a faster chip and better cameras, including a telephoto one. I am not convinced that the Galaxy A57 5G makes a lot of sense at full price, but wait for the discounts. If you can get it at $450, the large, bright screen and the Samsung software suddenly may seem very, very tempting.

EN→PTYes, the Samsung Galaxy A57 is a great buy. The screen looks fantastic, from the thin bezels to the vivid colors; the camera is ideal for vibrant, fun shots. The battery life is sufficient that many won’t need to charge it each day, and it charges quickly, too. It's in these areas that the Galaxy A57 is a better choice than the Pixel 10a. The software is well-designed and easy to use, plus it’ll be supported for years, and the phone feels expensive and durable, meaning you won’t immediately look to upgrade it next year. It makes the $50 increase in price over the Galaxy A56 easier to accept. If you own the Galaxy A56, it’s not dramatically improved, so you may not want to upgrade, but if the Pixel 10a looks too much like the Pixel 9a, and the Nothing Phone 4a Pro is too bold, the Galaxy A57 should be at the top of your shopping list. Buy it with confidence, but have a good check to see if the Galaxy S25 FE is available at a discount before committing.

EN→PTThe Samsung Galaxy A57 is not trying to be the fastest phone in its category, nor the most aggressive on specifications. Instead, Samsung has built a phone around long-term usability. It delivers a slim design, dependable cameras, polished software, excellent display quality and one of the best update commitments in this segment. For users who value reliability and ecosystem experience over benchmark scores, the Galaxy A57 makes a decent case.At the same time, the pricing creates tougher competition than before. Rivals now offer stronger gaming performance, larger batteries and telephoto cameras in a similar bracket. Even Samsung’s own FE lineup enters the conversation once discounts kick in.But viewed independently, the Galaxy A57 succeeds at what it sets out to do. EN→PTThe Samsung Galaxy A57 is a good phone but not the same value as its predecessor. It would have been easier to recommend at the old price. At $550 for the model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, it is on the expensive side, especially when a similarly specced Galaxy A56 now costs less than $400. The phone also faces tough competition from Nothing’s Phone 4a Pro, which gives you a more versatile camera setup and a quirky design, and the now-discounted Google Pixel 10 ($549 on Amazon), which has a brighter screen and flagship-grade hardware. For Samsung fans, the Galaxy S25 FE now costs $500 and provides a more versatile camera setup alongside more powerful performance. However, none of these phones can beat the Galaxy A57 on the overall big screen and hand-feel experience. I’d recommend waiting for a price cut, which usually happens within a couple of months after launch. The Galaxy A57 will be a much better value then.

The A37 is positioned as a balanced and practical option for everyday tasks, while the A57 offers additional performance headroom, higher-grade materials, and somewhat broader photo and video capabilities. EN→PTThe Galaxy A57 is a very "Samsung" phone—and that's both its biggest strength and somewhat its limitation. It delivers exactly what you expect: a premium design, a great display, reliable battery life, and polished software with long-term support. These are fundamentals that Samsung has mastered, and the A57 benefits from that experience. But it also plays it safe. Performance doesn't stand out, the camera system lacks that edge, and there's very little here that feels like a major leap forward. If you're looking for excitement or cutting-edge features, this might not be the phone for you. That said, if your priority is consistency, reliability, and a refined everyday experience, the Galaxy A57 makes a strong case. It's not trying to be the best at everything—but it's very good at what it chooses to focus on. Though the phone's retail price is Rs 56,999, it is selling for Amazon at a discounted Rs 48,990, which makes it a good deal.

Slightly more expensive than last year’s model, the lack of a telephoto lens is its only glaring omission. It has a premium design, excellent build quality, a very good display, polished software, and Samsung’s strong long-term update support. Those are not small things. For some people, those may be enough. But outside of those strengths, the compromises are harder to ignore this year. EN→PTIn a rare move (and motivated by the vast gulf in prices) I’m going to separate the 256GB model from the 512GB for the verdict. The latter is absolutely not worth buying, it costs too much and offers too little, falling well short of other options in that price range. The 256GB model has more appeal to it, with its wonderfully slight and lightweight build being the main draw – though performance, battery life and display quality aren’t bad either. And, of course, that excellent software support remains a key advantage. Samsung fans looking to avoid the high prices of the S series will find the A57 to be the ideal, cost-conscious alternative. If you’re brand-agnostic, however, the Google Pixel 10a is better value overall. The cameras are stronger, the battery lasts longer and you get an extra year of software support.

EN→PTSamsung has created its most premium mid-range phone yet in the Galaxy A57. Design improvements make it a more pleasing phone to live with than any previous model, bringing it even closer (in feel at least) to the flagship Galaxy S range. With that said, this is another case of refinement over innovation. It’s a shame there hasn’t been more attention paid to the phone’s stagnant camera system, in particular, as well as its battery – even if it’s a fairly solid performer in both respects. We’re not thrilled with Samsung bumping up the price, given the relative lack of advancement and the existence of better-performing or more exciting rivals for less money. An awful lot of people simply want the best Samsung phone within their budget, however, and it’s never been easier to recommend the top Galaxy A model as the one that most people should get. If you want to save money, look to the Galaxy A37 instead.

EN→PTOn the whole, Samsung’s Galaxy A57 shares many of the same strengths as previous models. It’s a capable phone with a brilliant display built into a big phone that’s remarkably lightweight and thin-feeling. Any compromises, like imperfect cameras, performance and battery life, are largely expected at this price point. Costing just over £/$500 for the base model is about on par with what you’d expect for this phone from Samsung. What’s a little harder to accept is that if you want more storage than the 256GB base model, you’re going to need nearly £/$200 more to get it. And at that price, you can get a much better phone from just about anyone.

EN→PTIt’s a bit of a funny situation, but the truth of the Samsung Galaxy A57 is that while it’s basically a cheaper alternative to the top dogs, it mostly makes sense as a buy if you don’t care too much about value. Most other phones at this price are far more powerful, and some are more overtly feature-packed. And while Samsung hits back with top-quality construction and materials, that may not quite be enough for some. Highlights include a solid primary camera and good speakers, but Samsung really needs to get up-to-date with battery tech to make the next Galaxy A phone like this a real competitor for the less geeky shopper working to a sensible budget (same can be said of the S series too). That said, though, I’ve enjoyed using the Galaxy A57 more than some of its more value-packed rivals because of that extra attention to the basics I notice every day. And that'll go a long way for many prospective buyers.

EN→PTThe Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 are fine devices for the asking price. However, the steep pricing, relative to the hardware on offer, does not make them the most value-for-money handsets in their respective price ranges. However, people who are part of the Samsung ecosystem and have familiarised themselves with how OneUI feels to use can definitely consider either of the two. Coming back to the question I began with, can they give the competition from Chinese OEMs a run for their money? The simple answer is no. Phones from OnePlus, Realme, and Xiaomi have leaped far ahead in offering much greater value. Hence, for people who want to stay associated with the Samsung brand name, which definitely holds a much greater value in people's eyes, the Samsung Galaxy A37 is a decent offering. However, if you prioritise performance and battery life, the OnePlus Nord 6 is a superior device. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is a far better phone in most respects than the Galaxy A57, offering an enhanced software experience, improved performance, and better cameras, along with the Samsung Galaxy S series brand.

EN→PTThe Galaxy A57 is a solid device and a worthy purchase for anyone seeking the Galaxy experience on a budget. It features a smart premium-feeling design, strong battery life, and all the benefits of Samsung's software ecosystem — including a sprinkling of AI features typically unexpected on a budget handset. It's far from perfect, however. The cameras are competent but proved inferior to the more affordable Nothing Phone 4a Pro in several key areas. Likewise, the macro lens — while bolstering the camera count compared to the Pixel 10a and iPhone 17e — offered little actual benefit. To top it all off, the phone costs $50 more than its predecessor without much to show for it, including a return of the weak performance that plagued the Galaxy A56. If you're looking for an affordable Samsung device, the Galaxy A57 is a solid option that gets a lot right. Just be aware that this isn't a flagship, and it struggles when compared to other entries on our best cheap phones list.

EN→PTThe Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 smartphones are a good choice for users who want Samsung but are not ready to pay for flagships. The smartphones are equipped with high-quality AMOLED screens, they have a modern appearance and IP68 protection, good battery life, loud stereo speakers, high-quality main cameras, as well as a comfortable, stable shell with a long support and update period. But so far, the price of both models is somewhat overpriced, so there are quite strong competitors offering more powerful processors, larger batteries and more versatile camera sets with telephoto modules, ultra-wide-angle cameras with autofocus. First of all, these are Motorola and Xiaomi/POCO models. But you can also look towards last year's line, which has already dropped in price, offers almost everything the same, but for the same money you can buy a smartphone with more memory.

EN→PTThe Samsung Galaxy A57 plays it safe, but it plays it well. It does not radically change the formula, but refines it in ways that matter to most users. You get a sleek and lightweight design, an excellent display, reliable day-to-day performance, and long-term software support. These are the pillars that make the A57 a strong contender in its segment. That said, it is not without flaws. The heating during heavy usage, relatively slow charging speeds, and the absence of a charger in the box may leave some users wanting more. But if you are looking for a well-rounded smartphone that focuses on consistency rather than experimentation, the Galaxy A57 makes a strong case for itself.

EN→PTThe Galaxy A57 is Samsung’s best mid-range phone yet, and if that’s the category you’re shopping in, it’s an easy recommendation. The bigger question is whether it’s the right phone to buy. At $500+, the Galaxy S25 FE has to be included in the conversation. For around $100 more, it offers proper flagship hardware that the A57 can only approximate. And in many markets, frequent discounts bring the S25 FE even closer to the A57’s price, making that decision harder to ignore. If the S25 FE is within reach, it’s the better long-term buy. But if you’re sticking to a mid-range budget, or are willing to wait for the A57’s price to drop a little, the A57 is the best answer Samsung has ever offered in this segment.

EN→PTSo, the question then becomes… should you buy the Samsung Galaxy A57? Well, let’s take a look at it in the big picture. For the 256GB variant, the Galaxy A56 was RM1,999, while the new A57 is at RM2,249 during the promotional period. But… Samsung phone prices are always very different in the retail market. So, when we look Shopee, one of the many e-commerce platforms we have in Malaysia, is already down to around like RM1,900 already. Or, you can also get the 512GB variant at only RM2,100. Remember, it’s a brand new launch. Comparing this retail price with other phones that are in this category, the A57 suddenly becomes a fairly good deal. But then again, the Galaxy S25 FE. It’s basically better in every way and yet the S25 FE is available at only around RM2,200, though the listings seem a bit sussy. Either way, the Samsung Galaxy A57 is a surprisingly good phone and the retail price is also rather enticing, but the S25 FE’s price has dropped so much that we can’t ignore it.

Reviewing the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G after using it as my full-time phone for one week, including plenty of camera testing, gaming performance, battery life thoughts and more. The Samsung A57 5G is up against tough mid-range rivals like the Poco X8 Pro Max and Nothing Phone 4a Pro, so is it worth considering? Well, I really like that new slimmer design, which makes this Galaxy smartphone almost as lightweight as the S25 Edge. The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G still packs in a 5000mAh battery, same as the Ultra flagship. Although the lack of wireless charging highlights the more budget-friendly experience here. The Samsung A57 is powered by an Exynos 1680 chipset and this can handle a bit of gaming when needed, although the likes of the Poco X8 Pro Max is more capable. Likewise, the camera tech here is recycled wholesale from the old A56, with some of the same issues as the S26 series.

EN→PTAre you so ensconced in Samsung’s ecosystem that you’d never consider shopping elsewhere? Then the Galaxy A57 will look like a respectable mid-range option – if a slightly unambitious upgrade on its predecessor. The design and build aren’t too far removed from the firm’s flagships, the screen is a big beauty and it’ll last all day on a charge. Lifespan is also a little better than last year, as is CPU performance, Compared to the wider phone world, however, there’s nothing here that stands head-and-shoulders above rivals with keener launch pricing. A Nothing Phone 4a Pro has a larger, higher resolution screen, a faster chipset and more versatile cameras, while the significantly cheaper Poco X8 Pro Max is the new go-to for anyone after maximum lifespan between charges. A few rounds of retailer discounts and network carrier deals will make it more competitive, but until then only the budget-conscious Samsung faithful need apply – and even then, should give serious thought about the significantly cheaper Galaxy A56 while it’s still in stock.

The handset delivers a comfortable in-hand feel, a large and immersive screen for everyday content consumption, and the reassurance of extended software support, making it a reliable choice for most users. If you’re someone who values strong gaming performance or a bigger battery, you may want to explore alternatives like the Vivo X200T (review) and the Motorola Signature (review). EN→PTI believe I have expressed a similar sentiment in the past, but it bears repeating. The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G is a good mid-range phone — if you're living in a place where Chinese smartphones are unavailable. Because like Samsung's flagship phones, the Galaxy A57 is a step behind Chinese models that have adapted quicker to newer technologies. Battery life and charging speed, for example, remain stagnant, and are practically the same as last year's Galaxy A56. The Samsung Galaxy A57 is also very much an incremental upgrade. Besides having the same battery capacity and charging speed, the processor is a newer Exynos 1680, while it's still a similar triple-camera setup, albeit with improved performance. Even the design is largely the same, but with slimmer bezels that are closer in thickness to flagship phones.

EN→PTThe Galaxy A57 looks and feels like an S-series phone, no two words about that. It has an improved design and build, slimmer screen bezels, and lighter body. It's become more refined, and it feels more premium. The new Exynos chip with LPDDR5X RAM is alright - it provides balanced everyday performance, but the competition has upped its game a lot this year, and the A57 is trailing behind. The camera department turned out to be surprisingly good, with excellent main and selfie cameras. The ultrawide shooter did okay, but the macro lens is there just for earning the "triple-camera" title for the A57. Finally, the battery life is now improved despite the identical battery capacity as last year. The One UI on the A57 is a typical Samsung affair minus DeX and a few AI tricks. The A57 is a good phone, all things considered, but not at that price. The Galaxy A56 is almost the same phone at half the price, while the Galaxy S25 FE is a flagship device with a similar tag. The Galaxy A57 is a very balanced phone with hardly any shortcomings so it's well worth a recommendation, but until it gets a price cut, it will remain a hard sell.

EN→PTThe Galaxy A57 doesn’t try to reinvent the mid-range smartphone. Instead, it focuses on refining the formula Samsung has been building for years. You get a large and vibrant display, dependable performance, strong battery life, and Samsung’s long software support. The design looks premium enough to stand out, and everyday usage feels smooth and reliable. The cameras, however, are good rather than exceptional, especially in low light. Video recording could also benefit from higher frame rate options. And then again, one look at competitors like the Motorola Signature, and even much lower-priced phones like the Nothing Phone 4a Pro and the POCO X8 Pro Max, and you realise that Samsung's habit of lagging behind in terms of spec-delivery still continues.

EN→PTThe Samsung Galaxy A57 smartphone was announced in March 2026. It is a slim, good-looking mid-range phone that does not try too hard to be flashy. It measures just 6.9mm thin and weighs 179g, so it feels light and comfortable in the hand. The build is solid, with Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both the front and back, plus an aluminum frame. It comes in Navy, Gray, Icyblue, or Lilac. You get multiple SIM options (nano + eSIM, with up to two active at a time, and it is IP68 rated, meaning it can survive a dunk in 1.5m of fresh water for 30 minutes. So yes, rain and accidental spills are no problem. The 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display runs at 120Hz for smooth scrolling and hits 1900 nits peak brightness, so sunlight visibility is excellent. Under the hood, Samsung’s own Exynos 1680 chip (4nm) and up to 12GB of RAM handle daily tasks and casual gaming fine, though it is not a flagship beast. The software is a highlight Android 16 with One UI 8.5, and Samsung promises six major Android upgrades, so this phone could last you until 2032 or so. Storage options go up to 512GB, but there is no microSD card slot.

EN→PTThe Galaxy A57 starts at Rs 56,999, marking a significant jump from its predecessor, the Galaxy A56, which debuted at Rs 41,999. While the older model saw price increases over time, the A57 enters the market at a much higher starting price, placing it in a more competitive, premium category right from day one. This also means the Galaxy A57 has a bigger challenge ahead, justifying its price not just against its predecessor, but also against strong rivals in this segment. That said, based on early impressions, the phone comes across as a refined, premium offering in terms of design, display, and overall experience. We’ll have a clearer picture once the full review is out, but for now, if you’re considering the Galaxy A57 or planning an upgrade from an older device, it might be worth waiting to see how it performs in-depth before making a decision.

The price may have taken a slight bump with one of these mid-range Galaxy phones, while the cheaper model needs an upgrade to match the A36's storage. However, you do get a few improvements with the Samsung A57 and A37, including new Exynos brains and improved water resistance. Here's the full skinny on that battery tech, as well as the camera setup. If you're hoping for much of a hardware upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy A57, prepare for disappointment. Of course, the image processing has been tweaked while the NPU is more powerful, so hopefully that will have an impact.

Not to mention the fact that Samsung has added a lot of new AI features that you would otherwise only be able to get on the Galaxy S26 series. The fact that Samsung has increased the price still stings, especially since it seems to be affecting the American market more than the U.K. For the extra money, you'd hope Samsung would offer a little bit more of a substantial upgrade, but that isn't the case, especially not for the Galaxy A57.

EN→PTThe Galaxy A57 5G is shaping up to be a sleeker, more premium mid-ranger than last year’s model, with a thinner, lighter body, a brighter 6.7in AMOLED, and slimmer bezels that could help it stand out. The unchanged camera setup – including that likely ‘junk’ macro and lack of a proper zoom – might hold it back on paper, but Samsung’s updated ISP may still deliver decent results once we’ve had the chance to really test it. Throw in six years of updates and the new ‘Awesome Intelligence’ features, a 5000mAh battery and 45W charging, and the A57 could end up being a very compelling all-rounder – but we’ll wait until we’ve fully tested the phone before we say for sure.
