O Huawei Mate S é um smartphone de sucesso que convence principalmente com sua excelente construção e design elegante. Oferece ótimas durações de bateria, uma boa câmera, qualidade de chamadas de primeira categoria, e um sistema operacional atualizado na forma de do Android 5.1 Lollipop da Google, que funciona muito fluentemente.

No entanto, não entendemos bem porque a Huawei cobra 150 Euros (~$168) a mais por ele que pelo seus P8. Embora o aparelho deixa uma impressão de alta qualidade e tenha o dobro da capacidade de armazenamento interno, bem como um SoC mais veloz, os compradores que optem pelo P8 premium serão mais que compensados por essas vantagens e ainda economizarão 50 Euros (~$56).

A Huawei oferece um excelente smartphone com o seu Mate S; no entanto, sua maior desvantagem é o seu preço pouco comum.

Também é uma pena que o Force Touch não esteja disponível pelo Mate S no lançamento. No entanto, será disponibilizado na Europe este ano. A Huawei não confirmou se isso afetará o preço. Este recurso aumenta a altura em meio milímetro devido à camada extra sobre a tela táctil.

A maior desvantagem é a conectividade um pouco limitada. Nem LTE Cat. Também não há uma porta de IV instalada, e as interfaces para a reprodução de mídia também são relativamente escassas. Por outro lado, o Mate S está equipado com um sensor de digitais muito bom, que tem alguns recursos extras. No geral, o aparelho é um ótimo smartphone.
