Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

O MSI GP62 não é glamoroso nem pitoresco. É um típico portátil de jogos da MSI (além das marcas Xotic PC e do atraente teclado com iluminação de fundo RGB) que se foca principalmente no desempenho bruto e, de forma equivalente, no baixo custo. Com um preço de $1.299, é difícil argumentar com o desempenho da GPU, mesmo que alguns concorrentes (como o Lenovo Legion Y520) possam gerenciar pontuações semelhantes por um par de centenas de dólares a menos. Além disso, os dispositivos de entrada são muito bons, a tela é decente (além de ângulos de visão, PWM e uma relação de contraste relativamente baixa), e a máquina não é muito difícil de atualizar e manter, tomando em conta a perda da venerável garantia com o adesivo que cobre um dos parafusos.

No entanto, o desempenho da CPU é inferior graças às limitações térmicas, as temperaturas que às vezes são incomodas, os alto-falantes são fracos e o consumo de energia é surpreendentemente alto (e, consequentemente, a duração da bateria é curta). Por um pouco mais de dinheiro, outros portáteis da MSI como o GS73VR 6RF STEALTH PRO representam um melhor valor (especialmente quando equipados com um painel FHD me vez de um UHD em nossa unidade de teste). Com um desconto mais íngreme, o GP62 pode ser mais fácil de engolir. Como é, os usuários podem primeiro dar uma olhada em outras opções.
