Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

A maior decepção com o UMIDIGI S2 Lite é que ele não faz jus às suas imagens de marketing. Os marcos laterais são muito mais grossos do que a tela de borda a borda do que a UMIDIGI sugere em seu site e em seu material de marketing.

Essas imagens de marketing enganosas são uma pena, já que o S2 Lite é um bom smartphone. A carcaça de metal é estável e elegante, enquanto a duração da bateria é boa, embora o S2 Lite não consiga fazer o melhor uso de sua enorme bateria de 5.100 mAh. A tela é espetacularmente brilhante e eclipsa dispositivos muito mais caros. O S2 Lite pode até competir com smartphones projetados para serem usados em exteriores como o CAT S31. A combinação do brilho impressionante da tela, uma alta relação de contraste e boa reprodução de cores também não é muito comum em smartphones a esse preço.

O UMIDIGI S2 Lite tem uma tela extremamente brilhante que ofusca as desvantagens do dispositivo, como suas altas temperaturas de superfície sob uso intenso, seus patches de segurança desatualizados e suas imagens de marketing enganosas. No geral, o UMIDIGI S2 Lite é um dispositivo com excelente desempenho a um preço acessível.

A câmera está abaixo da média, enquanto o nível de patch de segurança do Android precisa ser atualizado com urgência. A prometida atualização para o Android Oreo 8.1 também está atrasada, mas nunca recomendaríamos confiar nas promessas do fabricante sobre as atualizações de software. Recomendamos a compra do dispositivo de um fornecedor europeu, embora para a cobertura de garantia. No geral, o UMIDIGI S2 Lite é um ótimo smartphone de gama média baixa.
