Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.
Screen flickering / PWM detected 220 Hz ≤ 50 % brightness setting

The display backlight flickers at 220 Hz (Likely utilizing PWM) Flickering detected at a brightness setting of 50 % and below. There should be no flickering or PWM above this brightness setting.

The frequency of 220 Hz is relatively low, so sensitive users will likely notice flickering and experience eyestrain at the stated brightness setting and below.

In comparison: 51 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 13554 (minimum: 43 - maximum: 2500000) Hz was measured.

Atualização chata ou desenvolvimento sensato? Devemos admitir: Exceto pela nova plataforma Skylake, as melhorias do T560 são limitadas aos detalhes, mas isto não deve ser um problema considerando o excelente desempenho do predecessor.

Os aspectos positivos do ThinkPad mais uma vez incluem um chassi sólido, ótimos dispositivos de entrada – o ótimo teclado em particular – bem como as extremamente baixas emissões de ruído e calor. Este último é parcialmente um resultado da decisão da Lenovo de equipar exclusivamente o grande chassi de 15-polegadas com processadores ULV frugais. Baseado na atual arquitetura Skylake da Intel, inclusive o Core i5-6200U da configuração de análise já é mais que suficientemente poderosa e também pode lidar com software complexo, bem como multitarefas. Todo o sistema é impressionantemente frugal ao mesmo tempo e permite durações de bateria práticas de cerca de 11 horas.

A Lenovo infelizmente não utilizou o novo modelo da série T5x0 para implementar as modernas portas USB 3.1 ou Tipo-C ou inclusive Thunderbolt 3. A nova tela IPS nem sempre é melhor que o anterior painel TN: O contraste e a estabilidade dos ângulos de visão aumentaram de forma significante, mas as cores e a luminância máxima do T560 são ainda piores que antes. Pelo menos o painel 3K opcional deve resolver estes problemas, mas é bastante caro.

Em resumo, a Lenovo mais uma vez criou um excelente pacote geral com o ThinkPad T560, que é a referência para os concorrentes como o HP EliteBook 850 G3.

Mesmo assim, você realmente deve pensar bem a compra, considerando o preço alto – devido às pequenas diferenças, o recém-chegado T550 poderia ser uma alternativa interessante para os usuários conscientes dos preços.
