O Yoga Slim é alimentado por umRyzen 7 4700U (Renoir) APU pela AMD. Sua CPU consiste em oito núcleos funcionando a uma velocidade de relógio de base de 2 GHz com uma velocidade de impulso turbo de até 4,2 GHz. Multithreading simultâneo (dois fios por núcleo) não é suportado.

A CPU funcionou em até 4-4,1 GHz por um curto período de tempo enquanto realizava nosso teste multi-tarefa CineBench. Em seguida, caiu para 3,7-3,8 GHz. Na bateria, o dispositivo começa a funcionar a 1,3-2,5 GHz e lentamente a uma velocidade de até 3-3,7 GHz. Executamos o teste multi-tarefa CineBench R15 por pelo menos 30 minutos em um loop para determinar se um processador é capaz de utilizar ou não altas velocidades de relógio turbo-boost sob carga sustentada. As pontuações caíram ligeiramente entre a primeira e a quinta corrida e se estabilizaram em um nível relativamente consistente depois. O turboalimentação é aplicado, mas apenas por um curto período de tempo em altas velocidades. Isto muda ao habilitar o modo "Alto Desempenho", o que resultou em velocidades de relógio consistentemente mais altas durante todo o teste.
