Para fins básicos de HTPC, como streaming de 1080p, servidores de impressão, música e outras cargas pouco exigentes ou de baixa multitarefa, no entanto, o B4 Max é suficiente na maior parte do tempo. O ruído da ventoinha e as velocidades sem fio poderiam ter sido mais silenciosas e mais rápidas, respectivamente, mas essas limitações não devem ser um problema em uma configuração de sala de estar de 1080p.
