O Tornado F5 continua a tradição da Eurocom de oferecer um desempenho mais veloz, mais personalização, e pernas mais longas que os equivalentes populares de grandes fabricantes renomados. Não há dúvida de que sua habilidade de rodar em processadores de desktop padrão e GPUs removíveis sem anular a garantia, é um dos melhores aspectos de adquirir um sistema da Eurocom.

Se as vantagens mencionadas acima não são atraentes, então não há muito motivo para preferir o entusiasta Tornado F5 sobre algo mais mainstream como o MSI GE62, Asus GL502, ou o novo HP Omen 17. Esses sistemas são mais econômicos e muito menos robustos carregando a mesma GPU GTX 1070. O desempenho geral do sistema pode ser mais lento, mas o desempenho dos jogos será quase igual dado que o desempenho bruto da CPU de um processador i7-5700HQ ou i7-6700HQ na maioria dos portáteis de jogos já é mais que suficiente para a maioria dos títulos.

O sistema não parece sofrer de afogamentos maiores durante o uso intenso. Cargas mais extremas com Prime95, no entanto, elevam as temperaturas para quase 100 C inclusive depois de reduzir as velocidades. Por isso, os usuários que esperam um amplo headroom para overclock do i7-7700K podem ficar decepcionados. As temperaturas de operação da GTX 1070 são mais aceitáveis dado que o sistema pode ser configurado com a GTX 1080 mais exigente. Em qualquer caso, a Eurocom tem uma bela linha em termos de limites térmicos e opções configuráveis para poder oferecer um dos portáteis mais velozes com este tamanho de tela.

O chassi poderia ser mais resistente e as temperaturas poderiam ser mais baixas. De outra maneira, o Tornado F5 ganha a competência do poder bruto e personalização, tanto que o seu preço alto não é um fator negativo.
