Estojo e recursos: Alumínio elegante e leve

O HP EliteBook 645 G9 tem um gabinete elegante e robusto, padrão MIL-STD810G, feito de alumínio escovado. Pesando cerca de 1,4 kg, o dispositivo de 14 polegadas é compacto, com pouco menos de 2 cm de espessura e é leve e agradável - perfeito para levar em suas viagens. Ele não fica fora de linha em comparação com seus concorrentes. Não temos nada a criticar sobre a construção do dispositivo. Suas portas, que incluem USB 4 Type-C com DisplayPort 1.4 e Power Delivery, HDMI 2.1 e LAN, estão espalhadas pelos dois lados do laptop. A alimentação é fornecida por meio de um conector separado.

Dispositivos de entrada: Um laptop de escritório compacto, sem muito a criticar

Até os quadros de 1,5 cm de largura à esquerda e à direita do dispositivo, a HP utilizou a largura do gabinete para o teclado, o que é bastante normal para esse tamanho sem um teclado numérico. Com cerca de 16 x 16 mm, as teclas são grandes o suficiente e rapidamente se tornam agradáveis para digitar. Algumas pessoas podem achar as teclas de seta combinadas um pouco irritantes. O scanner de impressões digitais fica abaixo delas. As teclas F1 a F12 têm as funções adicionais habituais, que controlam a luz de fundo do teclado, o brilho da tela, o volume e algumas outras coisas.

O touchpad de 11,5 x 6,5 polegadas fica na parte central do laptop e faz o que está escrito na embalagem. Ele tem uma sensação agradável e suporta gestos multitoque, como a rolagem com dois dedos.

Em comparação com seus concorrentes, a tela IPS de 14 polegadas do laptop teve o melhor desempenho em termos de brilho, contraste e reprodução de cores. O painel atingiu um valor de pouco menos de 400 lúmens, mas poderia ter uma iluminação um pouco mais uniforme. Mesmo assim, o valor alcançado, juntamente com sua aparência fosca, significa que ele é mais do que adequado para uso externo, mesmo sob luz solar direta. Isso torna o EliteBook ideal para o trabalho móvel em ambientes externos.

Um argumento contra o uso do laptop para edição gráfica profissional é o resultado relativamente baixo da cobertura do espaço de cores. Em contrapartida, sua reprodução de cores é bastante precisa e foi, de longe, a melhor de todos os dispositivos que comparamos. Suas velocidades de reação rápidas e a estabilidade do ângulo de visão tipicamente bom do IPS são excelentes. Não há quase nenhuma turvação, mas notamos um pouco de brilho do IPS.

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

O EliteBook 645 G9 é equipado com um AMD Ryzen 7 5825U com uma iGPU AMD Radeon RX Vega 8. Sua RAM DDR4 3200 de 16 GB funciona em canal único. Graças a um segundo slot SODIMM, a RAM pode ser atualizada, se necessário. A HP combinou isso com um SSD de 512 GB, que também pode ser trocado, se necessário.

Condições de teste

Os benchmarks foram realizados usando o nível de desempenho do Windows "Melhor desempenho", salvo indicação em contrário. A HP não oferece uma ferramenta separada com diferentes configurações de desempenho para esse robusto laptop empresarial.

Processador

OAMD Ryzen 7 5825U é uma CPU octa-core para laptops compactos e, com um clock de aumento de até 4,5 GHz, tem uma taxa de clock 100 MHz mais alta do que oRyzen 7 5800U. O processador tem 16 threads e um cache L3 de 16 MB.

Em geral, o processador em nosso dispositivo de teste ficou atrás de seus concorrentes nos testes de benchmark, o que significa que ele ficou abaixo da média e abaixo doLG UltraPC 14com o mesmo chip. No entanto, isso funcionou a favor de nossa amostra de teste quando se tratou de desenvolvimentos de temperatura e emissão de ruído, pois eles permaneceram baixos. O Ryzen 7 foi classificado, em sua maioria, em algum lugar no meio, mas às vezes também na parte inferior e logo acima doRyzen 5 PRO 6650U- Em termos de pontos, ele realmente teve que deixá-lo na frente em alguns momentos. Desempenho do sistema

O fato de a CPU não estar sendo usada ao máximo, juntamente com a RAM de canal único, significa que os resultados de desempenho do sistema do laptop não foram nada de extraordinário. Isso não foi muito perceptível no trabalho diário, mas os benchmarks mostraram isso com muito mais clareza. Aqui, o dispositivo de teste muitas vezes teve que admitir a derrota para seus concorrentes que, às vezes, são mais potentes em termos de motorização - por um bom tempo. A GPU Radeon RX Vega 8 integrada com 8 CUs e taxa de clock de até 2.000 MHz teve um desempenho ainda pior que o da CPU. Ela ficou em último lugar nos benchmarks 3DMark e ficou para trás em termos de soluções gráficas.

Isso leva a um desempenho bastante inexpressivo em jogos. Se os jogos puderem ser executados, eles só poderão ser jogados sem problemas usando as configurações gráficas mais baixas. Não dá nem para começar a imaginar a execução de jogos mais recentes, mas para um dispositivo de escritório desse tipo, isso não é um grande problema e é irrelevante para o mercado-alvo do laptop.
