The iPad Air M4 is a seriously powerful tablet that combines a great screen with top performance. It strikes a nice balance between power and price that makes this an appealing option for anyone wanting a tablet capable of laptop tasks. While the iPad Pro is a considerable jump up in both screen and power, the Air does more than enough for the majority of users. Arguably the standard iPad and iPad mini would also be plenty for most users, but the Air offers the larger screens without increasing the weight. Apple is adamant that there is no canibalisation between the iPad and the MacBook, and while they do fulfil different tasks, I think some users will still be picking between the iPad Air and the MacBook Neo – especially as they are the same price. In many ways, the Neo has carved out its own market, but that also includes those who were looking to buy an iPad in place of a cheaper laptop. Apple M4 9-Core GPU: Uma placa gráfica integrada com 9 dos 10 núcleos gráficos no SoC M4. A GPU foi introduzida no iPad Air com chip M4 e oferece 12 GB de memória unificada junto com a CPU.
Estas placas também devem ser capazes de agüentar todos os jogos atuais, mas a maioria deles em configurações de detalhes médios e baixos e com baixas resoluções. Jogos mais antigos, ou menos exigentes ainda podem ser jogados com boa qualidade de gráficos.

M4 8-Core: Um processador de arquitetura ARM (SoC) que apresenta 8 núcleos de CPU, um mecanismo neural de 16 núcleos e uma GPU de 8 núcleos com suporte a RT de hardware. O processador foi lançado em outubro de 2024; ele reduz o número de núcleos de eficiência, mas, felizmente, tem os mesmos 4 núcleos de desempenho que seus irmãos mais potentes têm. Esses últimos definitivamente funcionam a 4,0 GHz ou mais quando submetidos a cargas de trabalho de curto prazo. Seu desempenho deve ser bom o suficiente para qualquer tarefa do dia a dia, já que os núcleos de desempenho da geração atual do Apple oferecem um desempenho incrível de thread único e o chip tem 4 deles.
