Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Enquanto não tivermos esclarecido se a nossa unidade de teste teve um mau funcionamento ou problema com o sistema de resfriamento, não podemos dar um veredicto final sobre o P56XT. Devido às altas temperaturas da GPU que o aparelho de jogos de 15 polegadas atinge durante o teste 3D, tanto as emissões (ruído do sistema, temperatura) quanto o desempenho (afogamento) são afetados e atualmente significam uma grande perda de pontos.

Sem esses problemas, o P56XT seria um ótimo portátil de gama alta. Pode não ser realmente excepcional em todas as áreas - além da excelente duração da bateria - mas oferece um desempenho sólido.

Graças ao conceito Hot Swap (unidade ótica ou disco rígido de 2,5 polegadas), a combinação entre P35 e P55 se destaca entre as massas.
