Antes de publicar esta análise, perguntamos aos nossos leitores quais aspectos eram importantes para eles no novo Spectre 13. O feedback centrou-se principalmente no tempo de duração e na mobilidade da bateria, no ruído da bobina, na robustez e, claro, no desempenho. Mencionaremos todos esses aspectos em nosso veredito, mas primeiro gostaríamos de constatar que a HP colocou no Spectre 13 uma atualização bem sucedida da CPU e também retrabalhou a carcaça. Embora o Spectre 13 do ano passado com o Intel Core i7-7500U já tenha sido um banquete para os nossos olhos, o novo modelo i7-8550U é ainda mais bonito com seu design mais angular, marcos mais estreitos e dimensões menores. 

A HP deu um grande passo em frente com o design do Spectre. Seus novos cantos e bordas combinam com o seu nome. Em comparação com o novo Spectre 13, as bordas arredondadas do Spectre 13 anterior aparecem repentinamente.

O fato de a HP ter que caminhar sobre uma corda bamba entre bom desempenho, portabilidade e design torna-se aparente nas muitas compensações que o fabricante teve que fazer. A carcaça fina parece ser suficientemente robusta, mas ainda pode ser flexionada facilmente. Quanto mais fina a carcaça, mais difícil é fornecer o suficiente resfriamento ao dispositivo. Esta é provavelmente seja a razão por trás da HP escolher configurações tão conservadoras para o turbo boost. Estes, por outro lado, têm um bom impacto no consumo de energia. No entanto, a bateria de 43,7 Wh limita fortemente a portabilidade do dispositivo, e o Spectre 13 não poderá durar todo um dia útil em Full-HD, e muito menos 4K. O ângulo de abertura limitado, combinado com a tela reflexiva, também pode afetar a portabilidade do dispositivo, particularmente para usuários que esperam usá-lo em seu colo no trem, por exemplo. Não percebemos nenhum ruído de bobina durante o período de teste.

 

A HP apenas oferece muito boas opções de configuração para o Spectre 13, embora a variedade de configurações disponíveis possa ser um pouco maior. Você pode escolher entre uma tela Full-HD ou 4K, SSD NVMe M.2 com 360 GB, 512 GB e 1 TB e 8 ou 16 GB de RAM (DDR3-2133). Infelizmente, a HP não nos permite montar uma seleção dos componentes disponíveis nós mesmos.

Conforme mencionado acima, o HP Spectre x360 oferece mais estabilidade e mobilidade (duração da bateria e ângulo de abertura). Se você está procurando um portátil leve, fino e de alta qualidade que também tem um belo visual, o Spectre 13 da HP pode ser para você.

HP only offers very good configuration options for the Spectre 13, although the variety of available configurations could be a little larger. You can choose between a Full-HD or 4K display, NVMe M.2 SSD with 360 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB, and either 8 or 16 GB of RAM (DDR3-2133). Unfortunately, HP does not enable us to put together a selection of the available components ourselves.

As mentioned above, the HP Spectre x360 offers more stability and mobility (battery runtime and opening angle). If you are looking for a light, slim, and high-quality laptop that also looks great, the Spectre 13 from HP might be for you.
