Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Como o Huawei Nova Plus, o Huawei Nova é um smartphone realmente bom com quase nenhuma desvantagem. Um painel Full HD muito brilhante, carcaça rígida e de alta qualidade, porta USB Type-C, suporte para dois cartões SIM, e um leitor de digitais confiável pertencem a seus pontos positivos. Embora a câmera principal de 12-megapixels possa oferecer uma resolução apenas um pouco inferior que a do Nova Plus e não tenha um estabilizador de imagem, tira boas fotos e vídeos - este último inclusive em formato Ultra HD, o qual é, de fato, muito raro na gama média. Apesar de sua bateria um pouco menor, o Huawei Nova convence com sua longa duração da bateria. Também gostamos do módulo de rádio mais do que o do Nova Plus dado que suporta mais frequências UMTS e se caracteriza por taxas SAR mais baixas.

A Huawei criou um pacote recomendável com o seu Nova de 5 polegadas. As diferenças com Nova Plus 80-Euros (~$85) mais caro são apenas marginais se não consideramos a tela menor.

Podemos adaptar a listas de "contras" do Huawei Nova Plus quase integramente. Em vez de dois slots dedicados, apenas está instalado um slot híbrido que o cartão SIM e micro-SD devem compartilhar. O desempenho do Wi-Fi é confuso devido à falta de suporte para redes de 5 GHz. Além disso, os aplicativos não podem ser movidos para o cartão micro-SD. Os compradores que possam viver com essas desvantagens menores e desejem economizar 80 Euros (~$85) em comparação com o Huawei Nova Plus descobrirão que o Huawei Nova é um smartphone recomendável que, de acordo com o seu fabricante, em breve será atualizado para Android 7 assim como o seu irmão de 5,5- polegadas.
