Os destaques do novo tablet da Samsung são a construção restrita, porém sofisticada e muito fina, bem como a nova tela Super-AMOLED 4:3. Ele consegue competir facilmente com o seu excelente predecessor e convence com uma ótima razão de contraste, boas capacidade para exteriores e cores brilhantes e precisas. Os recursos são extensos com AC-Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, e LTE Cat. 6 bem como um leitor de digitais também não tem porque se esconder. No entanto, é uma pena que o NFC não esteja disponível. Outra vantagem é a função do telefone do aparelho quando usa os recursos de mão livres ou um headset. O armazenamento interno com uma capacidade de 32 GB pode ser expandido via cartão microSD (até 128 GB) se necessário.

Mais uma vez, na traseira há uma câmera de 8 MP, mas agora pode gravar vídeos em QHD com imagens muito nítidas. A qualidade da imagem, por outro lado, não mudou muito em comparação com o predecessor: A qualidade é boa para um tablet, mas não pode competir com soluções muito boas de smartphone. É uma pena que o novo modelo tenha dispensado o flash LED do predecessor.

As durações da bateria são mais curtas, e os resultados da nossa unidade de teste são – dependendo do cenário – médio, no máximo. Um problema mais sério é a decisão da Samsung de afogar o SoC sob carga contínua. Déficits de desempenho de até 40% não são comuns, nem necessários devido às temperaturas moderadas. O aparelho não consegue convencer neste aspecto.

O Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 é um tablet sofisticado com um belo visual, que, na prática, deveria atrair muitos usuários graças a suas compactas dimensões, peso baixo e ótima tela. No entanto, você terá que viver com durações de bateria medíocres, bem como problemas de afogamento sob uso intenso contínuo.
