Como tal, diz-se que ele apresenta um núcleo Cortex-X925 superpotente (até 3,73 GHz), três núcleos Cortex-X4 (até 3,3 GHz) e quatro núcleos Cortex-A720 eficientes (até 2,4 GHz), juntamente com a NPU 890 dedicada e a iGPU Immortalis-G925 MC12. O Dimensity 9400 mais antigo apresenta os mesmos componentes principais, sendo a velocidade de clock mais baixa o fator de diferenciação.
