O Huawei P9 Plus não é apenas uma versão maior do P9 padrão. O fabricante não equipa o modelo Plus apenas com uma tela e uma bateria maiores, mas também implementa diversos recursos adicionais e inclusive usa uma tecnologia de tela completamente diferente. O emissor de infravermelhos e o alto falante adicional certamente serão um valor agregado para alguns usuários, mas o recurso Press Touch ainda está na infância para Android. Por enquanto, os menus de contexto somente estão disponíveis para os aplicativos próprios da Huawei. O recurso somente foi realmente útil para o zoom de fotos em nossa opinião, mas a situação deve melhorar com o tempo.

A grande questão é obviamente se o P9 Plus vale os 130 Euros (~$143) adicionais. A resposta não é simples, porque ambos os modelos são basicamente iguais em termos de recursos principais como a carcaça, conectividade, câmera, qualidade da voz e o desempenho. Se considerar todas as melhorias (o dobro de armazenamento, mais RAM, tela maior, bateria maior, recursos adicionais), o preço adicional provavelmente se justifica, motivo pelo qual podemos recomendar ambos os modelos.

O Huawei P9 Plus consegue justificar o seu preço adicional sobre o P9 padrão. Nós recebemos um ótimo smartphone de gama alta com características muito boas; somente os recursos do smartphone chinês não consegue atender nossas expectativas.

O P9 Plus certamente não é uma barganha por 700 Euros (~$774), mas o smartphone não tem porque se esconder atrás dos rivais. Apenas a qualidade do vídeo (sem 4K) e o desempenho gráfico ficam atrás de alguns rivais, mas pelo menos, o último, não é notório na prática. Que o P9 Plus ainda receba uma pontuação total inferior à do P9 padrão, apesar dos recursos adicionais, é um resultado das medições um pouco inferiores da tela (incluindo PWM).
