Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

A BQ decidiu tornar os dois modelos da nova série X2 mais semelhantes e equipou ambas as versões com as mesmas câmeras. Portanto, as únicas diferenças estão no material do carcaça, no armazenamento e memória, e no processador. Se você comparar as duas versões de 64 GB entre si, a única diferença perceptível é o material da parte traseira do telefone, o SoC e 50 Euros (~$60). No final, é uma questão de escolha - as opções são vidro ou plástico. A menos que você também espere que seu smartphone possa rodar jogos exigentes. Nesse caso, você terá que optar pela versão Pro. Pessoalmente, achamos que o cargo adicional de cerca de 120 Euros (~$140) é um pouco alto demais pela memória maior (6 GB de RAM) e armazenamento interno (128 GB) - não temos certeza se a versão Pro realmente terá sucesso.

O Aquaris X2 Pro é uma atualização bem-sucedida do smartphone mais caro da BQ, mas ele precisa aceitar algumas críticas.

O X2 Pro nos impressionou com seus recursos, sua tela brilhante, longa duração da bateria e boas câmeras. O novo módulo de câmera dupla tira ótimas fotos - é uma pena que não use mais o sensor superior da Samsung. Se a BQ não tivesse feito essa mudança, as câmeras poderiam ter sido ainda melhores. O fabricante também poderia ter adicionado uma opção para escolher uma reprodução de cor mais natural para a tela.

Ficamos muito felizes com a qualidade das chamadas do BQ Aquaris X2 Pro. É uma pena que a taxa de transferência seja limitada ao LTE Cat. 6, mas ainda podemos viver com isso. No entanto, não podemos entender por que um fabricante europeu não suporta todas as bandas de frequência usadas na UE e por que o VoLTE e o VoWifi não são suportados desde o lançamento do telefone. Teríamos também esperado algumas bandas mais básicas fora das regiões europeias.
