A escolha de materiais dá ao dispositivo uma sensação de alta qualidade, refletindo um processo de fabricação igualmente profissional. As dobradiças que seguram o monitor são bastante esticadas, mas ainda permitem a abertura com uma só mão. A base se eleva levemente quando aberta.
Em termos de dimensões, o dispositivo está à frente na classe de contensores de 15,6 polegadas, portanto, é um dos mais compactos notebooks. Dispositivos de entrada: O grande teclado impressiona
A Dell utiliza quase todas as dimensões do dispositivo de 15,6 polegadas, instalando um teclado e um numpad que correspondem à largura de todo o estojo - com exceção das bordas finas de quase 1,5 cm à esquerda e à direita. Isto permite a utilização de teclas de aproximadamente 1,7x1,7 cm que são fáceis de digitar. O desenvolvimento de ruídos permanece dentro dos limites.
Infelizmente, o mesmo não pode ser dito do touchpad, que foi colocado ligeiramente descentrado sob a barra de espaço. As duas superfícies de clique na borda inferior, que não estão separadas uma da outra de forma aleatória, produzem um feedback claramente audível. Caso contrário, a operação é impecável: os dedos deslizam bem sobre a superfície lisa e felizmente agradável.
A Dell coloca as funções adicionais usuais para controlar a luz de fundo do teclado em três estágios (brilhante, escura, desligada), a reprodução de mídia e muito mais nas teclas F1 a F12. Um sensor de impressão digital também está localizado na parte superior direita.

A tela de 15,6 polegadas com uma relação de aspecto de 16:9 tem uma resolução Full HD (1920x1080). É fosco e, portanto, basicamente adequado para uso externo. Infelizmente, os valores de brilho bastante insignificantes de aproximadamente 240 cd/m² joga uma chave de fendas na obra. Placa Gráfica
Uma solução gráfica dedicada não pode ser esperada nesta faixa de preço e não faz sentido para um modelo de escritório deste tipo. O AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 iGPU proporciona desempenho suficiente para o funcionamento normal, mesmo que, como no caso da CPU, ela fique claramente atrás da concorrência, bem como de sua própria média de GPU. A Dell desperdiça mais potencial aqui.
