O MateBook recebe as maiores honras pelo design mais fino e pso mais leve. Nenhum fabricante concorrente oferece um tablet Windows tão leve que tenha suficiente poder para permitir ao usuário trabalhar sem grandes retardações.

a tela possui a razão de contraste mais alta e a melhor cobertura sRGB entre seus concorrentes e é bastante impressionante  - e graças ao alto brilho, inclusive em exteriores. Embora haja um pouco de flexão do teclado, a digitação é prazerosa e a qualidade da webcam é de primeira categoria. O desempenho é similar ao do Aspire Switch 12 Alpha (i5 6200U) - a atual referência para tablets se ventoinha - por cerca de 25 - 35 %. Junto com o dock USB 3.0, o tablet é adequado para tarefas de escritório - embora não haja um DisplayPort. Pelo menos há o Gigabit Ethernet, VGA, e duas portas USB Type A.

Infelizmente, o usuário não pode se aventurar muito longe das tomadas - e uma vez conectado, a carga leva quatro horas. Esta é a fraqueza mais significante em nossa opinião. A versão Core m3-6Y30 é vendida por 880 Euros (~$975) e parece ser a melhor opção: de o m3 utiliza o Turbo graças as boas propriedades térmicas, bem como o m5 mais veloz, não deveria ser muito mais lento. A duração da bateria provavelmente não será muito diferente - veja a nossa análise do HP Spectre x2 12 m3 (comparação do m7/m3).

os usuários que desejam o maior desempenho - e economizar um pouco de dinheiro - deveriam dar uma olhada no Aspire Switch Alpha 12 SA5-271-56HM. Graças à CPU i5 6200U, este conversível supera os concorrentes. No entanto, o dock USB 3.0 e o stylus também são opcionais.

No que diz respeito à mobilidade, o Microsoft Surface Pro 4, Core m3 e o Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 700 ambos são topo de gama com as durações da bateria de 8 e 7,5 horas, respectivamente. A Lenovo possui dispositivos de entrada menos convincentes, mas o Surface Pro 4 é quase tão bom quanto o MateBook nesse quesito.

Se o teclado for o fator decisivo, o Spectre x2 12 - que está disponível em uma versão m3/LTE de nível de entrada, por 900 Euros (~$1000) - é uma opção atraente. O HP vem com dois bons módulos de câmera (RealSense R200) e um microfone excelente. O Spectre também dura cerca de 6 horas (verão m3 e m7). Os usuários interessados em um conversível definitivamente deveriam dar uma olhada na oferta da HP.

Não podemos recomendar totalmente o MateBook. O preço da versão m5 (1.180 Euros / ~$1310) é simplesmente alto demais, embora a versão m3 seja mais acessível com 880 Euros (~$975). No entanto, a curta duração da bateria é uma verdadeira desvantagem.
