The curved AMOLED display, a major highlight of the Redmi Note 15, is one of the best I’ve experienced in the sub-Rs 25,000 segment recently. On the other hand, the 108MP primary camera is a promising addition for delivering crisp and vibrant tones, the software will be supported for years to come, and with a weight of 178g, it’s a pleasure to use the phone single-handedly. However, in an attempt to perfect several core aspects, performance has taken a step back.

At that price, the Redmi Note 15 delivers mid-range performance at a budget-friendly cost. Most of my complaints are easy to overlook given the value on offer, unless you specifically need a high-end camera for video work. Outside of that use case, the Redmi Note 15 consistently outperforms what its price suggests, combining strong optimization with excellent battery life. For a base model, the Redmi Note 15 performs well, lasts a long time and costs little, and while the camera will not thrill content creators, the rest of the phone consistently impressed and pleasantly surprised me.
