Qualcomm Adreno 510

A Qualcomm Adreno 510 é uma placa de vídeo móvel para smartphones e tablets de gama média (maiormente baseados em Android). Está incluída nos SoCs Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 e 652 e se baseia na arquitetura Adreno 500 (como a Adreno 520 no S820, que deve ser completamente compatível em software).

A GPU suporta padrões modernos como Vulkan 1.0 (de acordo com a Wikipedia), OpenGL ES 3.1 + AE (3.2 em outras fontes), OpenCL 2.0 e DirectX 12 (FL 12.1 de acordo com a Wikipedia, 11,1 de acordo com a Qualcomm). Além disso, a GPU suporta Universal Bandwidth Compression (UBWC) para economizar largura de banda da memória.

Em comparação com a mais veloz Adreno 530, a 510 atualmente é produzida no antigo processo de 28nm (650 e 652) e deve oferecer menos ALUs. A velocidade não é revelada.

Os primeiros benchmarks e avaliações de desempenho da Qualcomm posiciona a GPU no mesmo nível da antiga Adreno 330 (anterior GPU de gama alta) no Snapdragon 810. Portanto, deve ser capaz de lidar com a maioria dos jogos Android até com Full HD, fluentemente.
