Enquanto o Schenker XMG Apex 15 Max é anunciado principalmente como um laptop para jogos, ele também tem como alvo a estação de trabalho e a área DTR. Dentro do Clevo Barebone (NH57VR) utilizado aqui é um Ryzen 9-5900XcPU de mesa e um GeForce Computador portátil RTX 3070gPU.

Desempenho - A CPU de mesa do XMG Apex não desenvolve todo o seu potencial
O poderoso laptop de 15,6 polegadas atinge uma boa figura em cenários de aplicação que exigem muito poder de computação, seja em jogos, processamento de vídeo ou renderização. O laptop pode ser configurado muito individualmente na loja online da Schenker (bestware.com).
Condições de teste
Entre outras opções, o Centro de Controle pré-instalado também permite selecionar um perfil de desempenho (modo Desempenho, modo Entretenimento, modo Economia de Energia, modo Silencioso). Os benchmarks e testes de bateria foram realizados utilizando o modo Entretenimento, incluindo o controle automático do ventilador.
BIOS
De acordo com Schenker, a BIOS do Apex 15 Max representa um desenvolvimento interno. Desta forma, a empresa quer garantir o funcionamento estável das CPUs Ryzen 9 oferecidas em todos os momentos. Também podemos confirmar isto, pelo menos para nossa unidade de teste.
Processador
O substituível Ryzen 9 5900Xprocessador de doze núcleos (Vermeer) funciona com uma velocidade de relógio básica de 3,7 GHz. Através do Turbo, este pode ser aumentado até 4,5 GHz (doze núcleos) e 4,8 GHz (um núcleo). É suportado multithreading simultâneo (com dois Threads por núcleo). As velocidades do relógio durante os benchmarks Cinebench R15 variam significativamente, dependendo do perfil de potência selecionado. Em todos os casos, a CPU é capaz de funcionar constantemente a uma velocidade de relógio estável, o que é mostrado por nosso teste de loop CB15.

Em operação multi-fio, a CPU 5900X permanece significativamente abaixo de seu potencial máximo: ela só atinge brevemente a velocidade Turbo, se o perfil de desempenho for ativado. Na operação com uma única rosca, a distância entre o desktop e o laptop fica menor (veja o quadro comparativo). As opções de resfriamento de um laptop podem ser simplesmente insuficientes em geral para operar a CPU de mesa com potência total.
É curioso que, usando as mesmas configurações de desempenho (modo de desempenho, ventilador máx.), o Apex tem um desempenho muito melhor em operação com múltiplas roscas do que o Eurocom Nightsky ARX315que também está equipada com uma CPU Ryzen 9 5900X. Talvez a otimizada e interna BIOS da Schenker tenha mais desempenho da CPU.

Desempenho do sistema
O laptop é capaz de dominar cenários de aplicação que exigem muito desempenho sem qualquer problema, o que também é confirmado pelos muito bons resultados da marca PC-Mark. As taxas de transferência da faixa de memória de trabalho incorporada a um nível normal para o armazenamento do DDR4 3200.
Desde que o modo Performance ou Entretenimento seja selecionado, o sistema funciona de forma rápida e suave. Se você usar os outros dois perfis, o sistema tende a sofrer de uma certa lentidão, uma vez que o desempenho computacional é significativamente estrangulado.
