AMD R9 5900X

O AMD Ryzen 9 5900X é um processador de mesa de alta qualidade de 12 núcleos, hiper rosqueado (SMT) série Vermeer que pode processar 24 roscas simultaneamente. Introduzido em 8 de outubro de 2020, o Ryzen 9 5900X é o processador de 12 núcleos mais rápido e é especificado a 105 watts TDP. O modelo superior, o AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, oferece ainda mais potência e, ao mesmo tempo, oferece outros 4 núcleos e 8 roscas. 

Os relógios Ryzen 9 5900X com relógio base de 3,7 GHz atingem até 4,8 GHz em um núcleo no modo turbo. Entretanto, quando todos os 12 núcleos são carregados, ainda é possível até 4,5 GHz.

O desempenho do AMD Ryzen 9 5900X é consistentemente excelente em todas as aplicações e significativamente melhor que o AMD Ryzen 9 3900X. A AMD tem sido capaz de melhorar significativamente seu desempenho de rosca única, em particular, e até mesmo supera o Intel Core i9-10900K nesta disciplina. O desempenho multi-tarefa também poderia ser melhorado. Em um duelo interno, o AMD Ryzen 9 5900X pode até mesmo assumir um Threadripper AMD 2950X.

A estrutura interna do processador não mudou fundamentalmente à primeira vista. A estrutura CCX mudou um pouco em relação à Zen2, porque agora um CCX consiste de até 8 núcleos de CPU. Assim, cada núcleo individual pode acessar o cache L3 completo (32 MByte). Além disso, os módulos CCX são conectados uns aos outros através do mesmo molde de E/S, que já conhecemos da Zen2. De acordo com a AMD, o Infinity-Fabric agora deve atingir taxas de clock de até 2 GHz, o que por sua vez permite um clock RAM de 4.000 MHz sem perda de desempenho.

Para os processos de fabricação, a AMD também conta com TSCM para os processadores Vermeer para a produção de 7nm dos núcleos da CPU, embora a matriz E/S ainda seja fornecida em 12nm pela Globalfoundries. 

Nos jogos, a AMD Ryzen 9 5900X é convincente graças ao IPC significativamente melhorado. Com o AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, o streaming pode ser feito simultaneamente com jogos. Mas se você só quer jogar jogos, é recomendável que você dê uma olhada mais de perto no AMD Ryzen 7 5800X ou no AMD Ryzen 5 5600X.
